समस्तीपुर, बिहार: समस्तीपुर रेलवे मंडल प्रशासन ने टिकट काउंटरों पर टिकट के लिए जुटने वाली भीड़ नियंत्रण के लिए रेलवे मंडल के 13 और स्टेशनों पर ऑटोमेटिेक टिकट वैंडिंग मशीन लगाने का फैसला लिया है। स्टेशन पर एटीवीएम के लगने से यात्री को टिकट काउंटर पर लाइन में लगने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी। वह खुद भी टिकट काट सकेंगे। डीआरएम विनय श्रीवास्तव ने बताया, "फिलहाल इस मंडल में 12 स्थानों पर करीब 35 एटीवीएम (ऑटोमेटिक टिकट वेंडिंग मशीन) लगाई गई हैं। इससे यात्रियों को कतार में खड़े होने की जरूरत नहीं है, वे एटीवीएम से खुद ही टिकट निकाल सकते हैं। प्रत्येक स्थान पर हमने कुल नौ सुविधाकर्ता भी तैनात किए हैं, जो एटीवीएम मशीनों को चलाने में किसी भी तरह की परेशानी आने पर यात्रियों की सहायता कर सकते हैं।"
