00:00Hi, I'm Carol Decker, lead singer and songwriter with T'Pau and I am so excited to be joining the cast of Now That's What I Call Music.
00:09I am Nina Wadia and I'm playing Gemma Warner.
00:11I love the script and I really connected with the characters.
00:15I know it's a 40 year anniversary of the album's launching and so it's just lovely that a story's been written around the concept of the album.
00:24Well I grew up listening to, you know, all the kind of now tapes, so for me this is like going home a little bit.
00:30Me and many other of my 80s peers, what are the soundtrack to your youth?
00:34So it's a synchronicity, it's really nice to be asked to do this.
00:38Being part of the musical is a real compliment to power actually on several of the albums.
00:44And so it's part of my life, it's part of my career.
00:47Very selfishly I want everyone my age to come and see this show because it's our time, you know.
00:52But truth be known, I think everyone will enjoy it.
00:55I know that a lot of younger people now love the sounds of the 80s music.
00:59So if you're just into the music, this musical is for you.
