00:00And then this total, I mean, I said that it was going to be
00:06hunky, it was just a little too low.
00:07Anything could really happen with these two teams.
00:09As mentioned, a number of people decided to stick with going
00:12on the under of this total.
00:14But regardless, what did we make of the fact that this is
00:17the result 18 to 26 before we close out our takeaways of
00:20the game?
00:21Yeah, first half you think we'd be cruising under, you think
00:25maybe get a touchdown from the Steelers just because again
00:28that red zone inefficiency is going to flip at some point
00:31like good offensive teams.
00:32They're going to convert the majority of time in the red
00:34zone and you don't expect the Steelers to go especially the
00:37way they're moving the ball and that's what it comes down
00:38to. You don't expect them to go 0-5, 0-6 in the red
00:41zone. They may not be amazing and go 1-6 or 1-7
00:45whatever it might be and that could push the game
00:47towards an over at some point, but you know, you think
00:50you would be cruising with the under throughout the
00:52first half and then I mean the defense is still need a
00:55lot of work, especially from the Giants side of things
00:57and yeah, sloppy play causes it to go over.
01:00So if you had the Steelers, congrats, that's the winner.
01:03If you had the Steelers, if you had the over, congrats,
01:05that's the winner and a lot of the player props hit tonight.
01:07So good stuff overall.
01:09I know a lot of people probably had Harris TDs, Pat Frymuth
01:12TDs or Pickens TDs.
01:14Those did not come through but all in all a pretty exciting
01:17game at least the end of it.
01:19Yeah, absolutely.
01:20You kind of touched already on like the Giants, the players,
01:22the props and where you would kind of look at that.
01:24But where do you lean in terms of like gauging the Steelers
01:27and the player props moving forward now that we kind of
01:29have a little bit more to compare to from week, well,
01:32Russell Wilson's week one to week two.
01:35Yeah, it's tough because there's no one player seeing
01:38a dominant target share where Pickens has five targets,
01:41Van Jefferson has five, Calvin Austin had four, we're seeing
01:44Pat Frymuth, two Najee Harris and Jalen Warren had seven
01:47combined coming out of the backfield.
01:48So it's a pretty even distribution.
01:50I think Pickens may still be the guy in terms of going
01:54over a yard just because that's the role he plays in.
01:56Van Jefferson may become a sneaky number two.
01:59So it could be Harris and Pickens as like a 1A, 1B and
02:03then seeing Van Jefferson as a number two option.
02:08All right.
02:08So something to continue to look forward to and then the
02:10lesson that I learned today is maybe not receptions, but
02:12yardage when it comes to Pickens.
02:13I think that that chemistry is going to continue to grow.
02:16I said that last week with Cooper Cup and the joke that
02:19I've made to Ben and Donnie for years is like you can go
02:22over yardage.
02:23A player can have a 99 yard reception.
02:25That's a fact.
02:26You can't have over six and a half receptions on one
02:29reception. Like it sounds silly to say, but you can fly
02:32over yards on a single play.
02:34You can't fly over attempts or rushing attempts or receptions
02:38on one catch.
02:39So yards are actually always safer.
02:43Yeah, and you just can't pin down those moments.
02:44I've made that mistake all season long and I'm just going
02:47to take a backseat to that.
02:48Enough of that for me.
02:48I'll stick with the yardage.
02:49I'll alt it up or alt it down if need be if it's not going
02:52to be so crazy.
02:53I'm a value but I've learned something today, Tom, when
02:56it comes to all of that.
