The mother of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray blames “the Biden-Harris policies” for her daughter’s murder and slams Kamala Harris for not ‘reaching out’ as she joins Trump on campaign trail. Alexis Nungaray joined Trump in Austin, Texas, to condemn Harris for not issuing her a “sincere apology” for her border policies after Jocelyn was abducted, assaulted and killed in June. “Kamala Harris has never reached out to me, just even as a human, to give her condolences as a humane person running this country,” she said. Jocelyn was found dead in a creek on June 17. She had stepped out to go to a convenience store at 10 p.m. the night before, when investigators say she encountered two illegal migrants from Venezuela, Johan José Martínez-Rangel and Franklin José Peña Ramos.

Both migrants had been apprehended in the months before Jocelyn’s death, but were released with notices to appear in court.

Investigators say Jocelyn was sexually assaulted and strangled under a bridge and Gov. Greg Abbott has called for the death penalty for her alleged murderers.

Alexis Nungaray thanked Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) for standing next to her family after her daughter’s death.

“I appreciate everything Donald Trump, Senator Ted Cruz has done for me,” she said.

The former president then invited her to visit him for lunch in the White House if he gets re-elected.

Trump’s remarks with Alexis Nungaray came before his larger rally scheduled to be held in Austin, Texas on Friday evening.

Harris was also in the Lone Star State on Friday speaking out about abortion, and the former president took the opportunity to slam her for not addressing the border while visiting the state.

00:00Sunday night, I asked her to not stay up super late because of her coming to work with me
00:07in the morning for us to do her summer school.
00:11She said, okay.
00:12I told her good night and I love you.
00:15I went to bed not realizing that that was going to be the last time I saw her.
00:21We're best friends.
00:22Yeah.
00:23Oh my gosh, shake it again.
00:24I woke up to notice she wasn't in her bed.
00:33I'm in my heart trying not to lose my mind because I don't know where she is.
00:38I finally remembered her phone had a location on and her phone was pinging just two minutes
00:44down the road right behind the skate park.
00:48I start driving to the direction the phone was being pinged at and I see a couple cop
00:55cars with lights on.
00:57I see yellow tape and immediately my heart drops and sinks to the bottom of my stomach.
01:06My daughter's hands and ankles were both bound.
01:10She was strangled to death, left with no pants.
01:16And I know in my heart, she fought incredibly hard.
01:21She was not going down without a fight.
01:28We begin with two men.
01:29We're learning are charged with capital murder tonight, accused of killing a 12 year old
01:33girl.
01:34Police say these men strangled her before dumping her into that creek.
01:38Both men were in the country illegally.
01:40They were apprehended, then released by border patrol less than three weeks before Jocelyn's
01:44death.
01:45The men accused of killing Jocelyn Nungare are affiliated with the gang known for brutal
01:49violence.
01:50Kamala Harris was in charge of immigration and our borders.
01:56If we had better border policies and not open borders and not these catch and release policies,
02:03I truly believe this all could have been prevented.
02:07After her being vice president of this country, my daughter's life was ripped away from her.
02:16She had her entire life ahead of her.
02:23My daughter is six feet in the ground based off of policies that she allowed to keep.
02:31Kamala Harris did have one job and she not only failed, not me, she failed my daughter.
02:40She failed Jocelyn.
02:41You know, she was only 12.
02:45President Trump reached out, gave me his sincerest condolences as not a former president, but
02:52just as a father of someone who cares.
02:54I believe Donald Trump needs to be back in office.
02:58I can at least know that my next child will be safe in this country.
