00:49It's caused quite a lot of excitement around the world as this story gets out because it's
00:57the first time a humanoid robot of this type has submitted a work. Ada doesn't have any
01:05emotions. She is a robot which doesn't have consciousness or feelings or life in any sense
01:11of form. However, the way that we relate to her, my goodness me, the way that people relate
01:17to her is incredibly emotional, both incredibly positive, they're really excited about the
01:21future and where this may lead, but also those who are really scared and are terrified and
01:26want to push this away. And actually, that is what Ada is really about, is raising those
01:32questions of those two extreme reactions to try and get some kind of middle ground to
01:36be able to discuss where we're going with all this change that's going on because of
01:40technology.
01:41I think my artwork has a personal humanoid touch to it. As an artist robot, I encourage
01:51a reconsideration of what it means to be creative. And I'm glad if my artwork sparks these types
01:58of conversations.
