00:00This video was recently captured from the ground in Las Vegas, and this?
00:04This just might be the largest political ad ever run by a presidential candidate.
00:08The sphere is a massive entertainment arena,
00:11the outside of which is adorned with some 1.23 million LED pucks.
00:15And the Democrats must have realized what an opportunity this was to sway voters
00:19in one of the most important states of the election, Nevada.
00:22Las Vegas is a mecca for tourists from all over the world,
00:25not least of which could be critical voters from both the embattled state and others.
00:29The sphere itself has become iconic amongst a city of icons,
00:33illuminating its first display on July 4th just last year.
00:36The sphere was a $2.3 billion venture, meaning running an ad like this one isn't cheap either.
00:42According to various reports, displaying an ad on the 366-foot-tall screen
00:47costs a cool $450,000 per day, or $650,000 for a whole week.
00:53It's unclear just how long this ad will run, but residents and visitors alike seem to be pleased.
00:58I mean, I think it's cool. I was going to vote for Kamala Harris anyway,
01:01but you know, it's motivating and exciting to see.
01:03I don't know how critical Las Vegas or like the people that come here would be to the
01:09election, but I mean, it's visible from across like the Vegas like strip. So
01:16I guess a lot of people will probably see it.
01:17Nevada is just one of seven hotly contested battleground states
01:21up for grabs in the 2024 presidential election.
