Shoppers love Costco's food court pizza as-is, but there's an easy way to "hack" your pie and make it more to your liking—and all you have to do is ask.

00:00We're back with another Costco food court pizza hack that just may mean you'll never
00:04have to eat a soggy crust again. First, start by ordering a whole pizza, and ask the server
00:09to make it extra crispy. Or follow the advice of one Reddit user, who says,
00:13"...order it well done. They put it through the oven one more time and it's fantastic.
00:18Been doing this for years. The extra time in the oven will remove extra moisture from
00:22the tomato sauce and cheese, leaving your crust crisp and delicious."
00:26Be prepared, however. If the food court is busy and or the oven is in use, you might
00:30get pushback from the counterperson when you make your special request. In that case, deploy
00:35the ultimate ordering hack. Ask nicely.
00:38"...extra crispy?"
00:42The answer might be a no, but at least you tried. And if you fail, all is not yet lost.
00:47If you're planning to eat your pizza right then and there, it may be better to order
00:50by the slice. The slices rest under heat lamps, which keeps them from getting too soggy. You
00:55might even luck out and get one with a crispier crust. But if you're okay with waiting to
00:59eat and you can't get an employee to slip the whole pizza back in the oven for one more
01:03go, order it anyway. Then, bring your pie home, stick it in your oven for 10 minutes
01:08at between 375 and 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and voila! Crunchy crust.
01:13You can even use the air fryer. Just preheat to 350 Fahrenheit, then put a single layer
01:17of pizza in the basket and let it cook for 3 to 5 minutes, until it reaches optimum crispiness.
01:22And lastly, if you're planning on taking your pie to-go, you might try one Reddit user
01:26suggestion and ask for it uncut.
01:28"...I'm hungry now!"
01:31In case you can't wait and want to sit down and enjoy your pizza in the food court, but
01:35your crust is a little soggy, fret not. We have tips for you to make the pizza taste
01:39better in-store. For example, you could try the latest viral food hack and wrap a slice
01:44of pizza around a hot dog. Be it just the dog, or the dog with the bun, and relish,
01:48or whatever toppings line up your taste buds. Or if that's a little too heavy for your taste,
01:52you can slice a hot dog into coins and spread it around the pizza pepperoni-style, even
01:56on a pepperoni pizza. Go ahead, we won't judge you!
02:01"...crust first."
02:06Another Reddit user mentioned topping your pizza with the free, chopped onions, while
02:10a third advised blotting the oil off the pizza, which is never a bad idea.
