We also got "Terrifier 3" star Samantha Scaffidi out in Los Angeles, and she told our photog she has to cover her eyes when watching the film franchise ... because it's too gory for her. Samantha admits she's even told her friends they don't have to watch her work because of all the blood.

00:00When you do these scenes, like the gory scenes in the Terrifier, does it ever affect you
00:08afterwards, like once you're done filming?
00:13Not in the way I think you're asking.
00:15I would say that when I'm doing it, it's super technical and maybe I dissociate a little
00:19bit where I'm doing it and it's super technical, I'm picking up a head, I'm moving it around
00:25and I'm not really thinking about what I'm doing.
00:27But then when I'm in the theater, the joke is that I've never really seen a full Terrifier
00:32film because I'm always covering my eyes.
00:34Really?
00:35Oh yeah, I've literally seen the Terrifier 3 like four times and I've pieced together
00:40scenes in my mind for little snippets that I get every time I watch it, but yeah, I'm
00:44a little bitch, I can't.
00:45You know, a lot of people talk about how gory the film was, so much so that some people
00:49had to get up and leave the theater.
00:52I want to know, what do you say about that, what do you say to people who can't sit through
00:56the whole film?
00:57You yourself have to cover your eyes in some parts.
00:59I think that's fair, I feel like Terrifier is a polarizing film and it's definitely something
01:03that is not for everyone, but I mad respect that they're brave.
01:10I would be really embarrassed to get up in the middle of the theater to leave, but I'm
01:14mad respect because those scenes are so intense that I'll sit there painfully and cover my
01:20eyes, but yeah, I feel like if I wasn't a part of Terrifier, I probably might have been
01:25that person who got up and walked out, but Damien would love that.
01:30I think Damien and the rest of us really love when people walk out because that means we're
01:35pushing it pretty far.
01:37Do you think that people should commit to watching it and staying through, you know,
01:41because they kind of signed themselves up for it, so they should stay committed to seeing
01:45the film all the way through.
01:46Oh no, no, I feel like to each their own and also, like I said, it's not for everyone.
01:51I've grown to love it because I appreciate the special effects and the prosthetics, but
01:57it looks real.
01:58It's like really, it's really intense.
02:01I definitely have to turn my head a couple of times.
02:02I have literally friends who are like, I'll watch it.
02:05I'm like, you don't need to watch it.
02:06So the film has been a huge success, it's been out for over a month now, and it's still
02:10doing very well.
02:11What has that reception been like for you, especially for it being the third one in the
02:15franchise?
02:16It's wild.
02:17It's been a decade.
02:18I'm going to date myself, but I never, I don't think I ever thought, and a lot of us never
02:23thought it would get this big, and it's amazing, and it's exciting, and I'm so happy for Damian
02:30and everyone, but it still hasn't like hit, but I think it's because we're in the midst
02:35of it all.
02:36But then I say this, I don't ever really want it to hit, so yeah.
02:40That brings me to the next one, Terrifier 4.
02:44What would you like to see in the next Terrifier?
02:46I want the ultimate showdown of Sienna and Art the Clown, I'm excited to see where Damian
02:51ends it.
02:52This could be the new Halloween type of classic, you know, every year on Halloween, when Terrifier
02:58comes out.
02:59I think it is.
03:00It's really cool.
03:01So there is a fourth one in the works?
03:02Yeah, well Damian confirmed that, there might be more, he said four, but there might be
03:06more.
03:07I love that.
03:08But yeah, no, I'm excited, it's going to be insanity, because the third one was insanity.
