Kasama sa event ng dating mayor ng Maynila na si Isko ang running mate niya para naman sa pagka-bise mayor na si Chi Atienza.
Ginawaran ng award bilang isa sa mga Men of Power and Purpose si Isko, habang si Sam naman ay binigyan ng mga parangal na Philantropist of the Year, Excellence Award for Outstanding Public Service Program para sa Dear SV ng GMA-7, at Excellence Award for Outstanding Public Service Program Host.
Marami ang nakaobserba na tila may awkward moments sina Isko at Sam. Hindi rin daw kasi alam ng parehong kandidato na magkikita sila sa nasabing event.
