00:00Yeah, well, you make a good point to basically pointing out some of the efficiency or the
00:04efficient drives that they started to capitalize off of and bring into their play to get downfield
00:08because still heading into halftime, they only had like nine minutes and 30 seconds
00:12of offensive play time.
00:13The Texans were very much controlling the ball at that point.
00:15But you also mentioned the potential fatigue for the Texans defense.
00:19Not that that was the case.
00:20I think it was more jets finding finding a rhythm jets becoming more efficient versus
00:24the Texans defense kind of blowing plays out there.
00:27But to capitalize on the night, 26 minutes and 18 seconds for the Jets and play time
00:31versus 33 minutes and 42 seconds where the Texans had the ball.
00:35So it was a lot of better management in that second half efficiency, as you pointed out,
00:39perfection in the third drive, as you also mentioned, not something else to take a look
00:43at.
00:44They were sitting at 17%.
00:45When it came to the third down percentage, they upped out to 42%, topping the Texans
00:49who were sitting at 35% when it came down to their third down efficiency.
00:52So just a number of tweak management that they were able to execute on to help them
00:57be able to pull off this 21 to 13 victory.
00:59Now, we got to give you your moment.
01:01I talked my talk in pregame, I thought my SGP was going to wipe the floor with yours.
01:05I that wasn't the case, but you did have a big win.
01:09And now's your moment.
01:10Devontae Adams with the touchdown and you lined it up perfectly.
01:14You still had hope with the concussion protocol and he came in hot, closing out the game there.
01:19So the victory is yours, Tom, with the with your plays of the night.
01:22Yeah, Devontae Adams comes through, you know, big, uh, Schultz didn't get there.
01:27I thought he was going to play a bigger role now, granted, CJ Stroud didn't do a whole
01:30lot only 191.
01:31And listen, Tank Dell had a huge game, 126 yards.
01:34If I happen to be on Tank Dell, that would have certainly been good.
01:38But, you know, Robert Woods with 44 yards was a bit surprising to me.
01:41I expected Jon Metchie and Javier Hudson to play a bigger role, which we didn't see a
01:45catch out of anyone else.
01:46It was Tank Dell with six, Robert Woods with two, Dalton Schultz with three.
01:50No one else caught a pass.
01:52So this could be a bit of an indication of where their offense moved.
01:56Now, granted, they are going to be getting Niko Collins back.
01:59So it's not like he's done for the year like Diggs is, but in the short term, like it's
02:03going to be a lot of Joe Mixon.
02:05That's what it comes down to.
02:06Just going to be Joe Mixon show 24 and 106 on one on the ground.
02:09Like this is exactly what we spoke about on the pregame show with Dave, where I said Joe
02:14Mixon had done over 20 carries, which is what his prop was sitting at 20 and a half in four
02:18of the five games that he's played.
02:20The one or two times he went under was one when he got hurt against Chicago in week two
02:25on Sunday night.
02:26And then when they played at New England, that was the first game back for Joe Mixon.
02:30Also, the Texans were out so far ahead, like, why are you going to give your running back
02:34all these carries in his first game back?
02:36So every other game, Joe Mixon is seeing the ball 20 plus times.
02:40And those are even games when they had stepped Diggs and Niko Collins.
02:43So that is a very, very clear spot to attack the Texans probably for the rest of the year.
