00:00The Falcons, three-point home favorite against the Dallas
00:07Cowboys. The Cowboys are sub 500, three and four, but all
00:11three victories away from the star. Unlike last week when
00:16they were unable to cover or win outright against San
00:20Francisco, they have won outright twice as a road
00:24underdog. The Falcons, they're five and three. They're the
00:28only team in the NFC South now with a winning record. Joe,
00:32what is your expectation for this showdown in Atlanta on
00:36Sunday? Uh call me crazy. I think points are coming. I
00:41mean, I could be totally wrong here but I don't think I am. I
00:44think we are going to get a few points. Oh, look at that total
00:48fifty-two and a half. Looks like the market agrees here.
00:52God, that is a ridiculous number, Ben but it's warranted.
00:55Is it not here? I mean, let's face it. The Dallas defense has
00:59been as bad as we have seen in a very long time and no Mike
01:04Zimmer, no Dan Quinn, nobody is going to make this any better
01:08here. They rank pretty much near the bottom in just about
01:11every defensive category and you're talking about an Atlanta
01:14team right now that is rolling, Ben. They're averaging what
01:18feels like four touchdowns a game to begin with. So, the
01:22idea, to me, I think this game, the team that scores
01:25thirty-five points wins. I don't know that they're going to
01:27win by margin either. So, I I think sixty, seventy points in
01:32this game is not far behind. Ultimately, it's probably going
01:35to come down to a field goal but I think both these offenses
01:39will dominate the defenses in this game. You know, it really
01:43is interesting, Joe, for this Dallas team this year. Over in
01:46five of seven games but their two most recent wins, both
01:51games under. They did go over in their opening win of the
01:55year. One of those games on the road outright as an underdog
01:59against the Browns. Nobody would be getting points from
02:02Cleveland at this current moment or at least we shall see. I
02:06guess the Chargers are not the strongest of favorites come
02:09Sunday. But Joe, the Cowboys have played in a game this year
02:14with a total fifty or higher. It went over because they got
02:17absolutely boat raced by Detroit Lions winning that
02:21game forty-seven to nine. The Cowboys did not do much. Dallas
02:26has been an underdog in five of seven games already this year
02:32and they are both two and three against the spread and straight
02:36up. Both of those outright wins on the road for the Cowboys. I
02:41thought that might continue last week in San Francisco. Boy,
02:45was I wrong. So, I am not buying back into this Cowboys
02:48team. In fact, Joe, this is a really intriguing game. Atlanta
02:52under in three straight to start the year. Now, over in
02:55four of their last five but the Falcons have not covered in any
03:00of their three four-week home games booked as a favorite this
03:05season or are booked at just in those home games at all against
03:10the Steelers to open up the year against the Chiefs on
03:13Sunday night and when you look at what they have done the last
03:17time they were at home also with a game we expected to see
03:21some points north of fifty against the Seahawks. Atlanta
03:24two weeks ago was an outright three-point favorite. Lost that
03:28game and the total stayed under. This is a very compelling
03:32Falcons team to me, Joe. One that I don't necessarily buy
03:35back in on just yet but the narratives and the reaction
03:39from Sunday are going to be paramount based on how this
03:43game ends up and a lot of that will focus on the quarterbacks.
03:47Dak Prescott has been a turnover machine. Multiple
03:50interceptions in three consecutive games for the
03:53Cowboys. Kirk Cousins, really good last week. Six
03:57incompletions, four touchdowns on the road in Tampa. Joe, Dak
04:02Prescott might go over that yardage prop but he's been a
04:05yard merchant late in games when Dallas was getting
04:09handled this year. It has not been a strong season for the
04:13Cowboys who are below 500. If they lose this game and look
04:17lifeless, listen, Mike McCarthy has no time remaining on his
04:20contract after 2024. There could be a change during 2024.
04:26Yeah, no, absolutely. I mean, let's let's be realistic.
04:29Atlanta's defense is allowing 73% completions to the
04:34quarterbacks they're playing and Dak is going to have a
04:37field day. I mean, he's already on pace to throw 40 or more
04:41passes a game right now, Ben, mostly because they're always
04:44trailing and what choice do they have? They can't run the
04:46ball. You have a Dallas allowing 28 points a game.
04:50They're 30 second dead last in red zone defense. There's
04:53points coming in this game from both these teams.
