00:00They don't need a starting quarterback.
00:05They just need any anybody off the scrap heap that can actually pass will do.
00:10I don't know what to make of it.
00:12They look like they're starting to round into what we thought they would be to begin the
00:16year.
00:17But now they got a Chargers team with Herbert looking much healthier week by week here.
00:22Boy, this is an interesting price.
00:24What are you going to do with this one?
00:26Totally agree.
00:28What's fascinating I think about the Browns is not that they had Deshaun Watson struggles,
00:34but that Jameis comes in against the Ravens and lights it up.
00:39Their offense was good last week on every level in every way.
00:43So that's the most damning Deshaun Watson piece is that not that Joe Flacco had a run
00:48of a few games, but Jameis came in and operated that offense the way that they needed to operate,
00:53throwing passes to everyone and scoring touchdowns.
00:56So that's what's so fascinating about that game last week.
01:00Now both teams have the ability to establish the run here.
01:06We know that the Chargers are effectively the most run heavy team in the entire league.
01:12So that 42 and a half is a low number.
01:14And despite the fact that the Browns exploded last week against the Ravens, I think the
01:20Chargers are really going to make an effort to take the air out of the ball.
01:23The only thing that would upend that is if the Browns defense is, to your point, Joe,
01:29what we thought they might be going into the year.
01:31Again, they didn't stop the Ravens last week.
01:34They stopped them enough.
01:36But I just think that there's a chance that the Chargers run the ball effectively and
01:41keep this game lower scoring.
01:43That point and a half, though, like who's going to win is one of the harder ones to
01:46pick up a week.
01:48To me, it's a little bit reactionary to Cleveland with Jameis.
01:52What Jameis did great last week was not turn the football over, but we have all lived through
01:57multiple Jameis Winston experiences in our NFL lives now.
02:02That is going to run out.
02:03And even Flacco last year that elevated the ceiling of this Kevin Stefanski Browns offense,
02:09turned it over a ton.
02:10Of course, it should be noted.
02:11Ken Dorsey is the offensive play caller now for Cleveland, that change happening last
02:15week as well.
02:17The Chargers are a four and three football team.
02:19The Bolts have covered in all four victories.
02:22They have gone under in three of those four wins.
02:26They have gone under in six of seven games this year.
02:29The only over was over 36 and a half when they beat the Broncos 23-16 and Denver scored
02:38multiple times late to even make that game look relatively close.
02:43It really was not.
