00:00three big injuries coming out of this week's results so we got to start
00:03talking about Oilers Connor McDavid we've seen him go down before we've seen
00:07other guys have to step up for Edmonton before his injury sitting at ten points
00:11through ten games three game-winning goals two overtime goals obviously why
00:14he's always a part of the heart conversation but he's looking to miss
00:17two to three weeks with an ankle injury after going out of the game versus the
00:22Blue Jackets nice and early I think he only was in for about 47 seconds worth
00:25of a shift before getting knocked down with the injury heading into the boards
00:29the next big injury that is gonna impact the NHL right now is avalanches
00:34Ross Colton you guys know I'm a Ross Colton fan former Tampa Bay Lightning
00:37guy significant time gonna be missed for a lower body injury broken ankle six to
00:41eight weeks that happened during the Blackhawks game now mind you he was the
00:45clutch player for the ABS thus far this season we know the ABS got off to a
00:48really slow start we know that they still have slipped up in certain games
00:52looking like they have it in their control and then letting go in that
00:54third period there that's more of a goaltending thing but regardless it's
00:57gonna hurt them not to have clutch Colton in the mix
01:01Poland's results before heading out 15 points sitting at 9 on the ABS roster
01:06also one of the clutch players and leading in goals for the Colorado
01:10Avalanche so while they have a lot of superstars Ross Colton's gonna hurt this
01:13team and then the third biggest injury of the week where everybody's hearts go
01:17out to Fredrick Anderson because we know that he's been dealing with a number of
01:20situations he's just trying to be there for his team we have seen Anderson go
01:24out before and Kochkoff come in to be a reliever but he's gonna be week to week
01:28so not as long as McDavid or Ross Colton but look the Canes are one of the top
01:32teams for goals against in terms of not letting it behind them so when we see
01:36Kochkoff go in we'll see if that dynamic changes a little bit too much
01:39Canes have been on a fire lately but a lot of that fire has come because of
01:42that offense I mean they're unstoppable and it's running through the top three
01:46lines more than just sticking to them Kochkoff played 42 games last year
01:50when Anderson had to go out 23 wins he pulled off but he did sit at a point
01:549-11 safe percentage so the Canes may not be all that far off
