00:00How you guys doing?
00:14I'm nervous.
00:15I'm excited.
00:16What's up, y'all?
00:17One second, guys.
00:18One second.
00:19Okay.
00:44So I don't take lightly the call.
00:47Sorry, guys.
00:48I'm a little nervous.
00:49I'm a little nervous, guys.
00:50I've been waiting for this moment this whole life.
00:51My whole life.
00:52I need patience over here.
00:53Patience, where are you, girl?
00:54I need patience over here.
00:55My whole life.
01:02I need patience over here.
01:05Patience, where are you girl?
01:09I need patience over here.
01:19Hold on, hold on, hold on.
01:20How you guys doing tonight?
01:25How you guys doing tonight?
01:26Are we ready to make history?
01:30Are we ready to make history?
01:35Are we ready to change these four years?
01:37No, are we ready to change the next eight years?
01:39Because we're going to make sure we have Kamala Harris in office for eight years.
01:47All right.
01:50Vice President Kamala Harris, thank you for having me.
01:56I do not take lightly the call to show up, the call to speak up, the call to deliver a message that's been on my heart for a hot minute now.
02:08Now, I took my time writing this speech, so I'm gonna make sure I deliver it right.
02:14Because I got something I've been wanting to say for a long time.
02:17I've been saying it on Twitter, on my Instagram, and I'm ready to tell it to you now.
02:24Y'all ready to listen?
02:27All right now.
02:28All right.
02:29Just like Kamala Harris, I too have been the underdog.
02:33I've been underestimated.
02:35My success belittled and discredited.
02:38Let me tell you something.
02:40Let me tell y'all something.
02:42Women have to work ten times harder, perform ten times better, and still people question us how we got to the top.
02:54They be like, how she got there?
02:55Hold on.
02:56Let me warm up.
02:59Yeah.
03:02Let me tell you something.
03:03I can't stand a bully.
03:07But just like Kamala, I always stand up to one.
03:12All the time.
03:13I'm ready for them.
03:14Yeah.
03:16And I'm gonna be real with y'all.
03:18I wasn't gonna vote this year.
03:20I wasn't.
03:21But Kamala Harris, joining the race, she changed my mind.
03:27Completely.
03:31I did not have faith on any candidates.
03:34And so she joined the race and said the things that I wanted to hear, that I want to see next in this country.
03:40All right.
03:42I believe in every word that comes out of her mouth.
03:45She's passionate.
03:47She's compassionate.
03:48She shows empathy.
03:50And most of all, she is not delusional.
03:53Yeah.
03:55Yeah.
03:57Kamala recognized that this country is at risk.
04:00That the economy needs to get stronger.
04:03That the cost of food and the cost of living is too high.
04:07Damn, it's even high for me.
04:11I believe her when she says, under her, buying eggs and milk won't break the bank.
04:18Because she's gonna pass a ban on price gouging on groceries.
04:24And she told me that in my face.
04:26So she better not lie to me in my face.
04:29Yeah.
04:30I believe her when she says she will make housing more affordable.
04:33By providing Americans with $25,000 in down payment assistance.
04:39Yeah.
04:41Yeah.
04:42Hold on.
04:43I got more.
04:46Yeah.
04:47Yeah, she's promising a lot.
04:50And I believe her when she says she will provide a tax cut to 100 million middle class Americans.
04:59That's a lot of Americans.
05:03And that includes $6,000 for parents in the first year of child's life.
05:09Y'all remember when they used to do that?
05:11Y'all remember when this country used to do that?
05:12Yeah.
05:15And speaking of healthcare, let's talk about it.
05:19Let's talk about healthcare.
05:24Did you hear what Donnie Trump said the other day?
05:27Y'all heard what he said?
05:30Alright, I'm gonna tell you right now.
05:32Let me drink my water.
05:33Yeah, stay hydrated.
05:37He said he's gonna protect women whether they like it or not.
05:43He said he's gonna protect women whether they like it or not.
05:50I'm repeating it.
05:51Please.
05:54Donnie Dunk, please.
05:57Protection for women, especially if we're talking about maternal and mental healthcare,
06:02isn't telling them what to do with their bodies.
06:05It's supporting them and giving them the care they need for what they choose to do with their bodies.
06:14I don't play that.
06:17People like Donald Trump don't believe women deserve rights.
06:21And when those rights are taken away, they are nowhere to be found.
06:27When a mother's going through postpartum, he's not there to hold her hand.
06:32When a child is in foster care or in a shelter because their mother is not mentally stable
06:37or financially stable to take care of them, they're not there.
06:42The people outside planning, yeah, yeah, they're not there.
06:47They're all gone.
06:49Those people outside Planned Parenthood screaming at women's faces,
06:53they don't be there when women go through stuff.
06:55They don't.
07:01And everything is possible, shout out to the single moms out there, but it's hard.
07:12Trump says he's going to protect women whether they like it or not.
07:19Well, if his definition of protection is not the freedom of choice,
07:24if his definition of protection is making sure our daughters have fewer rights than our mothers,
07:29then I don't want it!
07:33I don't want it.
07:35I don't want it.
07:38I don't want it.
07:42We all knew Trump was a hustler, but hustling women, and I'm a hustler too, yeah,
07:49but hustling women out of their rights to their body is nasty work.
07:53Hustling Americans out of their hard-earned money by selling Trump watches,
07:59Trump sneakers, and Trump Bibles.
08:01By the way, the watches is $100,000.
08:04Yeah, yeah.
08:05Made in China, another country he discredited, is nasty too.
08:12Let me ask y'all a question.
08:14Let me ask y'all.
08:15Wait, is Milwaukee in the building?
08:18Is Wisconsin in the building?
08:20Yeah!
08:23Let me ask you this question.
08:24Do we really trust this man with our economy?
08:28Our economy!
08:31A man who cares only about making himself rich and cutting taxes for his billionaire friends.
08:36I don't even get a tax cut!
08:43Today, it's your wallet.
08:45Tomorrow, he'll be conning you out of your health care rights, and that's a fact.
08:50I want you to hear that again.
08:51Today, he's hustling you with the, oh, buy my sneakers.
08:55Tomorrow, it's going to be your health care rights.
08:57He's going to take it away from you.
08:58He won't snatch it.
09:03Donald Trump talks about how he has a concept of a plan, but America, the only concept of
09:09a plan he has is a plan to hustle you.
09:14Yeah.
09:18Because we know what he's really selling us for.
09:23He's selling more than watches and sneakers.
09:27He's selling us bigotry, misogyny, division, chaos, and confusion.
09:33He wants us to hate each other!
09:40And it's going to cost you your money, equal opportunity, affordable health care, and any
09:46rights you thought you had for your body.
09:50He's going to take it from you.
09:52Listen to me.
09:53He's going to take it.
09:56Thank y'all, I love you too.
09:58I'm not giving Donald Trump a second chance.
10:03Nope.
10:05I'm not taking any chances with my future, and I'm damn sure I'm taking no chances with
10:10the future of my children.
10:13All three of them!
10:15All three of them!
10:16I'm not giving him the chance!
10:18You're not giving him the chance!
10:20Yeah.
10:24I'm with Kamala.
10:29I believe in her.
10:33And America, I believe in you to turn out on Tuesday.
10:37Turn out and turn up on Tuesday.
10:39Turn the page, and let's win this thing!
10:51Oh, it's good to be back!
10:53Good evening!
11:05Milwaukee, are we ready to do this?
11:10Are we ready to win?
11:14Are we ready to vote?
11:17And we will win.
11:25Oh, it's good to be back in Wisconsin, and to be with so many leaders.
11:31I thank everyone here for taking the time out of your busy lives to be here this evening.
11:39I thank you.
11:40I thank you.
11:41I thank you.
11:42I thank you.
11:47And can we please hear it for Tammy Baldwin.
11:50Let's re-elect her to the United States Senate.
11:55County Executive Crowley.
11:58Mayor Johnson.
11:59Cardi B.
12:00Let's give it up!
12:05And can we hear it again for MC Lyfe.
12:07Oh, Millie.
12:08Glorilla.
12:09Keegan-Michael Key.
12:13Oh, what a good night.
12:15All right, we got work to do, Milwaukee.
12:18Okay, four days left.
12:20Four days left in the most consequential election of our lifetime, and we still have work to do.
12:30But here's the thing about all of us.
12:33We like hard work.
12:37Hard work is good work.
12:39Hard work is joyful work.
12:42And make no mistake, we will win.
12:48We will win.
12:52And here's one of the reasons why.
12:54Because when you know what you stand for, you know what to fight for.
12:59And in this election, we have an opportunity to finally turn the page on a decade of Donald Trump trying to keep us divided and afraid of each other.
13:17We are done with it.
13:19We are exhausted with it.
13:21We are turning the page.
13:30And it's because we know that's what he's about.
13:33He is constantly about trying to have Americans point their fingers at each other.
13:39But that's not who we are.
13:42That's who he is.
13:44That is not who we are.
13:51And it is time for a new generation of leadership in America.
14:00And I am ready to offer that leadership as the next president of the United States.
14:16And Wisconsin, you know me.
14:18I'm not afraid of tough fights, obviously.
14:22For decades as a prosecutor and the top law enforcement officer of the biggest state, I won fights.
14:28I won fights against the big banks who were ripping off homeowners.
14:32I won fights against for-profit colleges that were scamming veterans and students.
14:38I won fights against predators who abused women and children.
14:42I won fights against cartels that trafficked in guns and drugs and human beings.
14:52And I pledge to you, if you give me the chance to fight on your behalf,
15:01there is nothing that will stand in my way as I fight for you.
15:15And look, we know who Donald Trump is.
15:18This is not someone who is thinking about how to make your life better.
15:23This is someone who is increasingly unstable, obsessed with revenge.
15:32He is consumed with grievance.
15:36And the man is out for unchecked power.
15:41And look, in less than 90 days, it's either going to be him or me in the Oval Office.
15:48Crowd chants, Donald Trump! Donald Trump! Donald Trump!
16:10But let's get the word out. Let's get the word out to the folks who are not here to just have them imagine.
16:16You know, we've all seen the Oval Office on TV.
16:18Imagine, on January 20th, that day, it's either going to be Donald Trump, if he is elected, which he will not be.
16:27Which he will not be.
16:29But to help people imagine what the stakes are, it's either going to be him there on day one,
16:35walking into that office, stewing over his enemies list.
16:41Or when I am elected, walking in on your behalf with my to-do list.
16:53And I'm a hard worker.
17:00And at the top of my list is bringing down the cost of living for you.
17:05That will be my focus every single day as president.
17:10I will give a middle class tax cut to over 100 million Americans.
17:19I will enact the first ever federal ban on corporate price gouging on groceries.
17:26And I will fight to make sure that hard-working Americans can actually afford a place to live.
17:40If you are caring for an elderly parent, if you are in the sandwich generation,
17:45caring for an elderly parent and young children,
17:50I will tell you, my plan will cover the cost of home care under Medicare.
18:02Because I took care of my mother when she was sick.
18:06And I know what you are doing.
18:08Whether it be trying to cook something that they feel like eating.
18:12Whether it be trying to help them put on a sweater.
18:15Trying to find a moment where you can bring a smile to their face or make them laugh.
18:20That work is about dignity.
18:22That work is about dignity.
18:24And I'm going to make sure you have the support and they have the support they deserve.
18:33My plan will lower the cost of child care.
18:37Again, it's about dignity.
18:39It's about seeing the strains and the pressures.
18:46We will cut taxes for small businesses
18:49because our small businesses are the backbone of America's economy.
18:56Let me see our small business owners.
19:07And we will lower health care costs because here's where I come from on that.
19:11Look, I believe access to health care should be a right
19:15and not just a privilege of those who can afford it.
19:19Because we're all in this together.
19:22And not just a privilege of those who can afford it.
19:29Dignity. Values about the dignity of each of us.
19:34And the responsibility of real leaders.
19:37To, unlike my opponent, not think that the measure of their strength is based on who you beat down,
19:42but the true measure of strength of a leader based on who you lift up.
19:53And then you've got Donald Trump.
20:00And his answer to the financial pressures you face is the same as it was the last time.
20:05Another trillion dollars in tax cuts for billionaires and the biggest corporations.
20:13And this time he will pay for it with a 20% national sales tax
20:18on everything you buy that is imported.
20:21Clothes, foods, toys, cell phones.
20:25A Trump sales tax that would cost the average American family,
20:29the economists have measured it,
20:32more than $4,000 more a year.
20:38And on top of that, Donald Trump is still,
20:42still trying and still wants to get rid of the economy.
20:45Still trying and still wants to get rid of the Affordable Care Act.
20:52Which would throw millions of Americans off their health insurance
20:56and take us back to when insurance companies could deny people with pre-existing conditions.
21:02You remember what that was like?
21:06Well, we are not going back.
21:11We are not going back.
21:13We are not going back.
21:15We are not going back.
21:17We are not going back.
21:19We are not going back.
21:21We are not going back.
21:23We are not going back.
21:25Because, because just like Wisconsin's motto tells us,
21:30we will move forward.
21:35Yes, we will.
21:37I love Wisconsin.
21:40And ours is a fight for the future.
21:45And it is a fight for freedom.
21:52Like the fundamental freedom of a woman to make decisions about her own body
22:00and not have her government telling her what to do.
22:06And we all remember how we got here.
22:09Donald Trump hand-selected three members of the United States Supreme Court
22:13with the intention that they would undo the protections of Roe v. Wade.
22:17They did as he intended.
22:19And now in America, one in three women lives in a state with a Trump abortion ban.
22:26Many, right, and the harm we've seen.
22:31Many of those laws, with no exception even for rape or incest, which is immoral.
22:36And he's not done.
22:38He would ban abortion nationwide.
22:41Yes, even here in Wisconsin.
22:43Even here in Wisconsin, it would be impacted.
22:47And he would restrict access to birth control, put IVF treatments at risk,
22:52and force states to monitor women's pregnancies.
22:58Just Google Project 2025.
23:02Just look at it.
23:04And everyone here I know understands and let us agree,
23:10one does not have to abandon their faith or deeply held beliefs
23:15to simply agree the government shouldn't be telling her what to do.
23:20Not the government.
23:22Not the government.
23:25Not the government.
23:27Not some people up in a state legislature, and certainly not Donald Trump.
23:35And I pledge to you when Congress, together with Tammy's help,
23:39when Congress passes a bill to restore reproductive freedom nationwide,
23:44as President of the United States, I will proudly sign it into law.
23:52Proudly.
23:59So, Wisconsin.
24:09So Wisconsin, I am asking for your vote.
24:14I am asking for your vote.
24:19And here is my pledge to you.
24:23As President, I pledge to seek common ground and common sense solutions
24:30to the challenges you face.
24:33I am not looking to score political points.
24:40I am looking to make progress.
24:44And I pledge to listen to those who will be impacted by the decisions I make.
24:56I pledge to listen to experts, to listen to people who disagree with me.
25:02Because you see, unlike Donald Trump,
25:09I don't believe that people who disagree with me are the enemy.
25:18He wants to put them in jail.
25:21I'll give them a seat at the table.
25:27That's what real leadership is about.
25:30That's what strong leadership is about.
25:40And I pledge to always put country above party and self,
25:46and to be a president for all Americans.
25:52All Americans.
26:09So that is my pledge to you, Wisconsin.
26:12And now I ask you a question.
26:14Who here has already voted?
26:16Oh, wow.
26:22Okay.
26:26And now I ask you to please talk to your friends and your family and your neighbors
26:33and share your perspective on why this election is so important.
26:38And for you who have not voted yet, no judgment.
26:41Let me just be clear. No judgment at all.
26:43But do get to it if you can.
26:49And for those who have not yet voted, please think about right now your plan for voting
26:54and think about where and when you will vote.
26:56And if you live here in Milwaukee, remember you can vote early now through Sunday, November 3rd.
27:03And go to IWillVote.com for all the information you need,
27:10including when and where you can vote and where to drop off your absentee ballot.
27:14Because we need everyone in Wisconsin to vote.
27:17You are going to make the difference in this election.
27:23You will make the difference.
27:26You will make the difference.
27:29So listen, it all comes down to this.
27:33We are here together because we love our country.
27:39We love our country.
27:41We love our country.
27:43And when you love something, you fight for it.
27:46You fight for it.
27:48And I do believe it is one of the highest forms of patriotism,
27:53of our expression for our love of our country to then fight for the ideals of our country
28:01and to fight to realize the promise of America.
28:10That's what this is about.
28:14And I have always believed in our nation's promise because I've lived it.
28:21You know, I grew up a child of the Civil Rights Movement.
28:25My parents would take me to marches when I was in a stroller.
28:31And there were at those marches, we all know, people from every walk of life
28:38coming together to fight for freedom and to fight for opportunity.
28:45You know, growing up, I saw how hard my mother worked to raise her two daughters
28:52to have the same chances that our country gave her.
28:56And I was blessed to have family by blood and family by love.
29:07Right?
29:09Who instilled in me a sense of community and compassion and faith.
29:16And I've spent my life fighting for people who have been hurt and counted out,
29:22but who never stopped believing in our country that anything is possible.
29:29I have lived the promise of America.
29:32And today, I see the promise of America in everyone who is here,
29:38in all of you, in all of us.
29:43We are the promise of America.
29:46We are the promise of America.
29:49It's the fathers and mothers and grandparents who work hard every day
29:54for their children's future.
29:56And the women who refuse to accept a future without reproductive freedom.
30:03And the men who support them.
30:13It's in the Republicans who never voted for a Democrat before,
30:18but put the Constitution of the United States above party.
30:28I see the promise of America in all the young leaders that I see right now
30:34who are voting for the very first time.
30:38Raise your hands.
30:43I love Gen Z.
30:46I really do.
30:53Here's what I love about you guys.
30:55You are rightly impatient for change.
30:59I love that about you.
31:01I love that about you.
31:04You are determined to live free from gun violence.
31:08You are going to take on the climate crisis.
31:11You are going to shape the world you inherit.
31:15I know that.
31:16I know that.
31:21And here's the thing about our young leaders.
31:24None of this is theoretical for them.
31:27None of this is political for them.
31:29It's their lived experience.
31:31It's your lived experience, and I see your power.
31:35I see your power, and I am so proud of you.
31:39Can we please hear it for our first-time voters?
31:42Can we please?
31:50And those who will be first-time voters.
31:58You know, the future of our country is so bright.
32:00We just have to see it.
32:01It's so bright.
32:03So listen, we got four days to get this thing done.
32:08Four days.
32:09No one can sit on the sidelines,
32:12so let's spend the next four days
32:14so that when we look back on these days,
32:16we have no regrets about what we could have done.
32:19Let's know we did everything we could do.
32:25So let's knock on doors.
32:27Let's text.
32:28Let's call.
32:30Let's reach out to family and friends and classmates
32:34and neighbors and coworkers.
32:36And here's a request that I have in that process.
32:39And while we are doing all of that,
32:42let's please be intentional about building community.
32:46Let's please be intentional about building community.
32:50You know, there's something about this whole Trump era,
32:54and it's, you know, it's made people feel like they have to...
33:00It's been powered by this idea
33:02that Americans should be pointing their fingers at each other.
33:05You know, and to make people feel alone
33:08and make people feel small
33:10when we all know that we all have so much more in common
33:15than what separates us.
33:21So let's be intentional about building community
33:24and building coalitions.
33:26There is strength and power in that that will be long-lasting.
33:31And finally, I'll say, just remember,
33:34and let's remind everybody we know,
33:36your vote is your voice, and your voice is your power.
33:40That's your power.
33:44In a democracy, that is a power that is yours.
33:48Don't let anyone take it from you.
33:51Don't let anyone take it from you.
33:55So, Wisconsin...
33:58So, Wisconsin, today I ask you,
34:02are you ready to make your voices heard?
34:08Do we believe in freedom?
34:11Do we believe in opportunity?
34:15Do we believe in the promise of America
34:19and are we ready to fight for it?
34:23And when we fight, we win.
34:27God bless you, and God bless the United States of America.
