My first vlog with family, Murudeshwar, the world's second largest Shiva statue
The Lord Shiva Statue at Murudeshwara is the world's second-largest Shiva statue, after the one in Nepal. It's near the old Murudeshwara Temple in the town of Murudeshwara. The statue and temple are situated on the seashore in Murudeshwara, which is situated on the Arabian Sea coast.
Murudeshwar Temple's 72-meter-high Gopuram, dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, was completed in 2008. To go to the top, you can take the elevator. The statue was created by Shivamogga's Kashinath and several other sculptors at a cost of around $50 million, which was funded by industrialist and philanthropist R. N. Shetty. The idol is constructed in such a way that it receives direct sunlight and thus appears gleaming.
The Shiva statue has been a shining beacon of peace and enlightenment since 2006. Because of its imposing height of 123 feet, it can be seen from quite a distance. Murdeshwar's mythology and history are fascinating due to its mention in the Ramayana, an ancient Indian epic.
