03:39its demography was changing fast.
03:42Amit Shah also promised that the BJP, if voted to power in the upcoming assembly election,
03:46will bring in a stringent law to take back land from infiltrators in Jharkhand, as well
03:51as to drive them out.
03:55In a statement that could set tongues wagging in political circles, Nationalist Congress
04:00Party leader Nawab Malik said he is solely the candidate of the NCP and that the other
04:05Mahayoti allies, Shiv Sena and BJP, are against him.
04:09Malik's remarks came after both the BJP and the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena opposed his
04:14candidature from Mankhud Shivaji Nagar Assembly constituency over his alleged links with people
04:21close to fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim.
04:24Talking about the allegations over his alleged links with the gang, he said people have even
04:29called him a traitor in the state assembly.
04:31Malik further warned that he will file civil and criminal defamation against those who
04:35spread false allegations against him.
04:38Meanwhile, in another statement, Malik maintained that the results of the upcoming Maharashtra
04:42elections are unpredictable and that party chief Ajit Pawar will play a key role in the
04:47formation of the next government.
04:49Anything can happen in Maharashtra after the results and Ajit Pawar will play the role
04:54of kingmaker, Malik said.
