00:00In Spain, authorities issued an orange alert in Valencia and several eastern areas due
00:04to strong rainfall.
00:06The State Weather Agency said that the country will be experiencing storms in the Mediterranean
00:10which could cause flooding in several parts of the country, including the areas affected
00:15by the Danube weather event.
00:16Authorities also announced that an orange alert will be in force in Murcia and the south
00:22of Catalonia, as they could be affected by flooding.
00:26The Emergency Coordination Centre warned that the storms could be accompanied by hail.
00:30Consent of the movement of non-residents and volunteers will be limited, in at least 11
00:34municipalities of Valencia affected by the Danube.
00:42In this context, the King and Queen of Spain were received by those affected by the Danube
00:46weather event with booing and rejection during a visit to Paiporta municipality.
00:51During a visit of government authorities to the Valencian community, residents of the
00:55area threw mud at the Spanish royal family, the Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and the
00:59president of the Valencian government, Carlos Mazón.
