00:00Our countrymen are slowly returning home from their respective provinces.

00:05For this, let's find out the update on the situation in one of the bus terminals in Cobao.

00:10This is Denis Osorio of PTV in Balitang Pambansa Live.

00:15It's just the end of a long weekend for most of our countrymen.

00:20And since last night, the number of people fleeing or returning to Manila from their respective provinces has increased.

00:27Some experienced a hard time in traveling due to the large number of people.

00:33Some also experienced a quick trip.

00:36Like Josephine Castillo, she usually travels for 7 hours a day from Pangasinan.

00:44But it only took 4 hours.

00:47It's fast, there's no traffic.

00:50But for Jomar Ospil, the trip took longer.

00:54He also had a hard time because of the large number of people, even if it was a night trip.

01:00It's hard, there's a lot of people.

01:02And it's tiring, there's a lot of hassle in the queue.

01:07Now, it's 6 hours.

01:09The trip is 5 to 6 hours from Pangasinan.

01:11But if there's no traffic, the regular trip takes 4 to 5 hours.

01:18According to Marlene De La Cruz,

01:20nothing has changed because the passengers are still the same.

01:24And there's a queue as long as there's a bus coming.

01:28The authorities are expecting 12,000 to 15,000 people to arrive today.

01:36That's for the whole day here in Manila.

01:39And because of that, let's look at the traffic situation this morning.

01:45Let's start here in El Zafubao, where the traffic is bumper to bumper from Southbound Lane

01:50to Quezon Avenue, all the way to Anapolis.

01:56The traffic is fast, but before it reaches Boni Avenue,

02:00it's already busy until it reaches Buentia Avenue.

02:04Meanwhile, the traffic is more relaxed in Northbound Lane,

02:09but there's a bit of slowdown when it comes to May Araneta.

02:13The farmers market passed until Aurora Boulevard,

02:17but the traffic continues until Cloverleaf.

02:21If it rains in Pasay or Makati,

02:24the traffic from Guadalupe to Guadix Drive to Ortigas Avenue is still slow.
