00:00Atleast my brother has given me a lot of unconditional love.
00:30A creator can be, filmmakers can be and how welcoming audience are in all part of our country to support good content.
00:43And that's the only intention Kanduva was made.
00:46We all have done something which we have not done before which we can proudly say.
00:52Two and a half years was a very very satisfying journey for all of us.
00:56In Tamil they say, OOR KOODI THAN THEER ILLUKKA MUDIYUM.
01:00Just one person can't pull it.
01:02So thanks to KVN garu, Venkat garu for coming and filling Gnanuvel's shoes here.
01:08Thank you for being a well wisher for the longest time.
01:12And I am very very happy to share stage here with him.
01:16And hopefully we should have lot more wonderful projects in the future.
01:20Thanks to UV Creations.
01:23Thanks to Jayanthilal.
01:25See as you know it's a film which is released in all languages.
01:29All languages are possible.
01:31And whatever is the best possible date is what everybody is hoping and wanting to happen.
01:38It is actually not that intense at all.
01:41Shivanna is the dearest dearest Anna for me.
01:45Hopefully you should be knowing every festival or every day we always had 10-12 films releasing.
01:52And I am hoping now for Diwali, Singham has released and Bulbul has released.
01:57And both are collecting 100-100 crores.
01:59And why you think people will go for only one film?
02:02Why you think people will boycott one film and not go for one film?
02:05Or one film will overshadow the other film?
02:07We could have released it on 10th only if that was the case.
02:11And the film also was not ready ma'am.
02:13The 3D version also was not ready.
02:15Even now the censor is still happening.
02:17We had also post production work going on the side.
02:20That might have been one reason but we had other so many reasons for the release date change.
02:25More his effort I would say.
02:28It was immediately brotherhood.
02:30The day he entered it was not looking like a person who we have looked upon for the 20 years.
02:36He is 3 years senior to me.
02:38But it looked like we knew each other for the last 20-30 years.
02:43And that's the kind of friendship and warmth he gave all of us.
02:47He was a darling to work.
02:49Darling, darling to work with.
02:5115 days we had a lot of memories.
02:54We were able to share so many memories about his family and my family.
02:58He is a complete again another family man.
03:00Most of the dialogues and most of the conversation was based on our family.
03:05From the date he proposed, the day he met his wife and how everything happened.
03:11And how everybody was supporting in his ups and downs.
03:14He is an open book.
03:16Completely an open book where he...
03:19I don't know.
03:21I have never seen such a warm person before.
03:24In 5 minutes we just clicked like that.
03:27And he stood so tall for this film.
03:30He stood really strong for this film.
03:32He gave everything for the climax.
03:34For all the stunt sequences.
03:36It's not easy to speak another language and act.
03:39But he gave everything.
03:41As I said it's not about money.
03:43It's not about just a job, doing a job and going.
03:45Everybody has invested a lot of love for Kangoa to happen.
03:49Genuinely not a part of a distribution circle.
03:52And I would really wish and would want to if there is any collaboration.
03:56If somebody is having a meeting and sitting and saying can we do something together.
04:01And if such a conversation happens.
04:04I will go to any extent.
04:07To any extent to talk to my distributors.
04:10To anybody and to whatever power I have.
04:13I would be a part of that and I would do that.
04:16There is no looking back on that at all.
04:18If there is a conversation I would call anybody.
04:21I will knock any doors to make such a thing happen.
04:24But it's a different world.
04:26Marketing is a different world.
04:27Distribution is a different world.
04:28And of course theatre owners.
04:30It's a completely different world.
04:31To my extent, to whatever power, to my capability whatever I can do.
04:36I will go all out.
04:37And to Shivanna I will go all out.
04:41Hi, this is…
04:42Be a producer of that movie.
04:43Surya sir combination with Kevin Productions movie.
04:47I think I will ask Surya sir only to answer.
04:50You know I have been a great fan of Surya sir's work.
04:55He is one actor.
04:57So much of versatility.
04:59Any role that he takes.
05:01You know he lives in that role.
05:04And makes us believe that it is not Surya sir.
05:07It is that character.
05:08Very fond of him.
05:10There is not even…
05:13Movie to movie, somebody was mentioning.
05:15There is so much of difference.
05:17The way he portrays a character is very different.
05:20In fact Sharda was asking if you have come from Rolex to Kangoo.
05:23No madam, I said in the first meet.
05:27Till Vikram came, everyone had Rolex in their hands.
05:32After Vikram came, everyone has Rolex in their heart.
05:38Genuinely not a part of distribution circle.
05:41And I would really wish and would want to if there is any collaboration.
05:45If somebody is having a meeting and sitting and saying can we do something together.
05:50And if such a conversation happens.
05:53I will go to any extent.
05:56To any extent to talk to my distributors.
05:59To anybody and to whatever power I have.
06:02I would be a part of that and I would do that.
06:05There is no looking back on that at all.
06:07If there is a conversation, I would call anybody.
06:10I will knock any doors to make such a thing happen.
06:13But it's a different world.
06:15Marketing is a different world.
06:16Distribution is a different world.
06:17And of course theatre owners.
06:18It's a completely different world.
06:20To my extent, to whatever power, to my capability, whatever I can do.
06:25I will go all out.
06:26And to Shivanna, I will go all out.
06:29I request for the next few minutes.
06:32That's it.
06:33Okay.
06:37Thank you guys.
06:38You have promised me.
06:39Whenever there is a character given, I try to see which is closer to my personal life experience.
06:44And that's how I draw my emotions.
06:46That's how I make it as real as possible.
06:49Kanguva was a very very different world.
06:51It's just 700,000 years back.
06:53But I really have a lot of respect and love for my director's writings.
06:59And the choice of words and his briefing.
07:02Kanguva character, Kanguva stands for his word.
07:06He stands for his people.
07:08And what come may, he is not a fighter but he is a warrior.
07:13I have lot of respect for Kanguva as a character.
07:17And maybe I have said this before, I would like to repeat.
07:19I would like to be Kanguva in real life.
07:23Whenever there is a word given, I would want to completely stand for it.
07:28And that's the character I have played.
07:32It also talks about forgiveness which is the most purest form of love.
07:38And the whole sequence is just not an action sequence.
07:42You have obviously seen the trailer.
07:45But there is a lot of underlying emotion in the film.
07:48It will just not be like an action sequence or a video game.
07:51But the whole core and the backbone of the film is the emotion.
07:56So I completely had lot of respect and I fell in love with Kanguva.
08:01Other states, other language speaking people, people from US,
08:05they want to come back and settle in India.
08:07They of course talk about Bangalore.
08:09So you have a collective response which is happening here.
08:13It's just not restricted to one language or just one sensibility.
08:17If it's accepted here in Bangalore, we again,
08:20we take it for granted that everybody has watched it in all languages possible.
08:24Collectively they have accepted the film and they have appreciated the film.
08:28So definitely looking forward for the first call from Bangalore.
08:31Is it the revenue you earn from Bangalore or the kind of response for your acting?
08:37I will stay back with the love they have given for the film.
08:42I am also a producer. I am also an actor.
08:45But in this I am an actor.
08:47But even if I was a producer, my first call or the first response
08:52I will be waiting for is the acceptance and the love they have given in the gallery, the theatres.
08:58That will be my first wait.
