00:00On Sunday, November 3rd, a dazzling caravan of expensive sports cars rolled out of Columbus,
00:05setting the stage for a spirited push to encourage early voters to hit the polls.
00:09Tracey Maxwell-Hurd from the Ohio Unity Coalition and one of the event's organizers
00:14shared her enthusiasm.
00:16But these kinds of things are, you know, these are great wrap-up moments
00:20to just really bring the community out and say, you know, let's make some noise and have some fun
00:24while we're reminding people that this is a really, really important event that's about to happen
00:28with the election, all the way down from the president to all of our local elections.
00:32So it's been a great deal of fun, you know, just reaching out and connecting
00:35with our community partners and getting them to show up and rally with us today.
00:39As the caravan cruised through the streets,
00:41participants actively engaged with the community,
00:44tossing out flyers and sharing vital information.
00:47So we, I mean, because as we've been driving, you know, we've tossed out flyers,
00:50you know, a partner would jump out and hand flyers to people,
00:53giving them information and everything.
00:54So tracking the impact is really going to be hard,
00:57but we know we had a lot of people coming out on porches.
00:59You know, we had bullhorns giving them the information about,
01:02you know, early voting and how to find their polling location and all of that.
01:06So while the exact number of voters the caravan would inspire remained uncertain,
01:10the mission was clear, rally the community and ignite enthusiasm for the democratic process.
