00:00What do you do if you see an elephant charging?
00:02Well, I'm no expert, but I understand why you would want to do something like this.
00:05This video was recently captured in Southern India.
00:08A CCTV camera caught the moment this delivery truck slams on the brakes.
00:12Only a moment later, two of the occupants of the vehicle jump out and run away.
00:16And here's why.
00:17They must have seen this elephant headed right their way, charging the truck.
00:21The elephant gives the vehicle a shove, moving it backwards several feet.
00:24And that may have been just the nudge the driver needed to know it was time to flee as well.
00:28Jumping out and booking it in the opposite direction.
00:31According to local sources,
00:32this was about the extent of the property damage perpetrated by the elephant,
00:36with one witness calling the creature a gentle giant.
00:38But despite elephants being indigenous to the area,
00:41they're not usually found on city streets.
00:43Eyewitnesses also said the sight of the pachyderm caused panic amongst residents.
00:47There's still no word just yet from India's Forest Department
00:50on the current whereabouts of the marauding and clearly lost elephant.
