One Japanese woman living in Sweden collected over 500 kimonos with an aim to preserve the cultural heritage from Japan.

00:27of Sweden, and I've been here for about 10 years.
00:32I grew up in a small island in Kagoshima, where I started to collect kimono about 10
00:42years ago, when we moved to here in Gunnashyokun.
00:55I liked very much kimono from the beginning, because I think it's really wonderful textile
01:03heritage from Japan.
01:05I usually, you know, buy kimono when I go back to Japan at the flea market or some kind
01:14of antique shop, or I buy a lot from the auctions.
