Married at First Sight UK S9 Episode 29
Transcript
00:00You know that picture? He said that he was actually a little bit envious.
00:04Previously...
00:05That is f****** bullshit.
00:07..anonymous letters...
00:09It displays a fake and disingenuous nature.
00:12..deepened Amy's distrust in Luke.
00:15Did you kiss whoever's arse? It's convenient at the time.
00:18Maybe Sasha does have a point, just doesn't add up.
00:21..while Kieran's honesty...
00:23I'm risking losing one of the best women that I could ever wish for.
00:26..cast doubt over the fate of his marriage.
00:29I could see this future with Kieran, so it is really difficult.
00:36..and the start of homestays...
00:40..saw significant milestones for Sasha and Ross...
00:43Can Sasha stay? Yeah.
00:46..but shattered plans for their future.
00:49Oh, do you feel it's about me to wash up?
00:52Well, that's not happening. No way.
00:56..tonight...
00:58I've missed you.
01:00As the homestays continue...
01:02Is this when I'll see the real Luke?
01:04..Christina and Kieran take time apart...
01:07Where's Christina? I was expecting her to say that.
01:09..to contemplate their marriage...
01:12You should see yourself spending the rest of your life with him.
01:15Yeah, I do really like him.
01:17..and a visit from protective parents...
01:19I want my daughter here.
01:21I definitely want you to stay here.
01:23..puts a question mark over Sasha and Ross's future.
01:26I really can't be away from them.
01:28It kills me.
01:30But it's an awkward meeting with friends...
01:32Adult entertainment, is that something you see yourself doing,
01:35even now you've got a wife?
01:36This is definitely an attempt to assassinate my character.
01:39..that pushes Amy and Luke's marriage to the edge of collapse.
01:42Well, as of now, I'm a single man.
01:45You lie! You are a liar!
01:48Maybe it's not meant to be after all.
01:57MUSIC PLAYS
02:00I'm really excited to be back and to finally see my cats.
02:03And I just want to get in. I just want to squeeze in.
02:06Across the country, the couples are continuing
02:09to get a taste of each other's home lives.
02:12I'm very excited to be here because I want to see what the footage is about.
02:16I'm looking forward to seeing Gaff, I'm looking forward to seeing family.
02:19I am so excited to be home with Ross
02:23and to see my mum and dad. It's been too long.
02:32I'm looking forward to taking you to my house.
02:34Is this when I'll see the real Luke?
02:38The dinner party was very difficult for both myself and Luke.
02:43I feel like homestays aren't starting in the best headspace.
02:47Right, babe, let's get these cases out.
02:49It is really upsetting that I've spent so long with Luke
02:52and I still feel like I don't know who he is.
02:58Let me get these two.
03:00I need to get to know the real him
03:02and I just hope we don't uncover any more lies.
03:06This is really cute.
03:08I'm glad you like it. Yeah.
03:10Make yourself comfortable, babe.
03:12Obviously, coming on the back of the dinner party,
03:14I can see that she's very uncomfortable,
03:16but I'm here to win Amy's trust.
03:18I always want to prove myself to Amy.
03:20Shall I show you around? Yeah, of course.
03:22Into the kitchen? Yes, please.
03:24A lot of me and Amy's relationship, I think, rides on this homestay.
03:27I feel like it's really important that things, you know, go well.
03:32It's a Madeira hat. What's on the nose?
03:35It's a Portuguese hat.
03:37You have to do the rest of the tour with that hat.
03:39OK, leave it on. Have a look here.
03:41Some nice photos.
03:43Is that you?
03:45Is that you? Yeah.
03:47You're like Ronaldo. Yeah, I am good-looking, you know.
03:50That's New Year's Eve, where I was working for New Year's Eve.
03:54Fully clothed. Yes.
03:56Where's the other half of this photo gone?
03:59I asked for it to be, like, a slim photo.
04:01It was just printed like that.
04:03Looks like it's been cut.
04:05Bit of a wonk at the top.
04:07Snoop, snoop, snoop.
04:09Oh, yeah, cos there's, like, some random guy.
04:11I don't need it. Are you sure it was a man in the photo?
04:14No.
04:18This is clearly a photo of Luke and another girl,
04:21and I just don't understand why he's lying to me right now.
04:25I don't believe that that photo's of you and somebody at work.
04:30Bullshit.
04:32Which photo? On the fridge.
04:36You can tell it's been cut in half. I'm not stupid.
04:38I cut it, yeah, so the photo was me with someone I met on the day...
04:42..that I was working with.
04:44As soon as I walked in, I thought,
04:46why do I want to show you a photo of me with some random person?
04:50So I cut it.
04:52So you've just lied to me again, to my face.
04:58I did tell you there was someone else in the edge of the photo.
05:01You said it was a guy that you were working with.
05:03Yeah, it was a girl. And you said you got it printed like that,
05:06and I said it looks like it's been cut cos the top of it's got
05:09Yeah, yeah, I didn't want you to see a random girl next to me,
05:14cos I didn't want you to think,
05:16why is she so important to be on your fridge?
05:19So I cut it.
05:21Cos it's not important.
05:23And then I lied to you about cutting it, cos I didn't want...
05:26I didn't want you to ask me, why did you cut it?
05:28Or who was it that you had to cut?
05:32This is the first day to mine and Luke's homestays,
05:35and it's just definitely not what I was hoping for.
05:38This is not what I want for my husband.
05:40It just makes me think to myself, like, what is real and what is not?
05:45Like, how am I supposed to connect with somebody
05:47when they're bare-faced lying to me?
05:49How do you expect me to find out who you are
05:51and understand you as a person if you're not truthful with me?
05:54What's the point in lying about it and hiding things from me
05:57throughout the experiment, and then when we get out into the real world,
06:00me finding out who you actually are? Why not be honest?
06:09I can't believe I just put my foot in it again
06:11and I just told another white lie.
06:14William is disappointed again, you know, it's again and again and again.
06:17We need to go the other way.
06:19Not this way, we need to go the other way,
06:21but I can't seem to help myself.
06:31Excited?
06:33Yeah, see the cats?
06:35In the second part of their homestay,
06:37Sasha is taking Ross to her home in Walsall.
06:40Diego!
06:42KNOCKING
06:43I'm home.
06:47Oh, my God. You ready?
06:51Hello!
06:53Hello, my cute!
06:56SCREAMS
06:59My boy!
07:03It feels so good to be home, back in Walsall, with my cats.
07:09Diego!
07:11Diego, it's Mum.
07:14It was nice to see Sasha with the cat,
07:16because obviously she's been netting them a lot.
07:19I don't know what more you want me to say, but she's got a fat cat.
07:23It's Mummy.
07:25Could you see yourself living here?
07:27It's pretty early to say that, isn't it?
07:30What do you mean, you don't have a relationship?
07:32We're married!
07:34Sasha's asking me to move to Walsall.
07:36Obviously, it's the best thing, it's the nicest thing to her,
07:39but I'll have to think on it as well,
07:41because obviously I've got family and stuff back at home in that style.
07:44It's not just her.
07:54Me and Christina are spending the homestays apart.
07:57We both need space at the minute.
08:01I was planning on doing homestays with Christina,
08:03but I just didn't think it was a good idea for her to both come here,
08:06especially with the way I'm feeling at the moment.
08:14My family and friends, they're going to be gutted
08:16about mine and Kiran's situation,
08:18that we're not even living together at the moment,
08:20let alone coming together on a homestay.
08:23I do really miss Kiran.
08:25I do really miss Kiran.
08:27My feelings haven't changed towards him.
08:29Like, I still love him and I still care tremendously for him.
08:35I am really hoping that Kiran's friends and family
08:38help Kiran see and realise what we do have.
08:48Hello, buddy!
08:50Hello!
08:52I know, I know.
08:54I've missed you. How have you been? Eh?
08:57It is bittersweet seeing Hugo on my own,
09:00cos, you know, last time I seen him I was with Christina,
09:03and I did promise Hugo that I would come back with a wife,
09:06and I haven't.
09:08I'm home. Just you and me.
09:13I think I've done the right thing by coming home on my own.
09:16I need to figure out the situation
09:18and just know what the right move is to take next.
09:21And Christina not being here, it's really crap.
09:25It's crap for me, it's crap for Christina,
09:27but it's just the way it is.
09:29My family will be very surprised
09:31that me and Christina are separate at the moment.
09:34I think they're all going to be pretty disappointed,
09:37cos everyone loved her.
09:45Welcome to Leeds Castle, baby.
09:49Yesterday was quite a tough day, went a bit like the Titanic.
09:53It didn't go to plan.
09:55Day two, I wanted to be more like the Olympic, strong and positive.
09:59Have a look at this view here.
10:02Last night was absolutely tragic.
10:05I just can't get this lie out of my brain,
10:08but I'm going to try and put a brave face on and get through it.
10:12Wow, this is absolutely gorgeous.
10:14Stunning, isn't it? Yeah.
10:19Do you like it? Yeah, beautiful.
10:21I thought it would be nice to bring you here
10:23to kind of see, you know, the potential work in the area.
10:26They do weddings here, so...
10:28Shopping round for a new job for me already? Yeah, why not?
10:33Inside it is stunning.
10:35I could definitely see myself working here.
10:37Well, maybe you need to come down here, then.
10:39Maybe. Then go and stay there.
10:41You've got every reason, though.
10:43There's definitely lots of nice places in Kent to walk dogs
10:46and stuff like that, so you're not sure to exercise.
10:49Just don't forget, you know, not only the dog needs exercise,
10:53everyone needs exercise as well.
10:56But...
11:01..I think we need exercise.
11:03End of conversation.
11:10Do you want to go and check inside? Yes, please.
11:12After you.
11:14We're having a conversation about walking my dog.
11:16Why does everything have to be brought back to sex?
11:18Like, he's constantly making me cringe
11:20and I feel like I'm constantly worried
11:22about what's going to come out of his mouth next.
11:25When we were outside,
11:26I didn't really appreciate the inappropriate comment.
11:29Obviously, Paul advised you to work on that.
11:33Yeah. Cos it makes you feel uncomfortable. Yes.
11:35And he was implying that we need lots of exercise together
11:38in the bedroom.
11:40I'm not struggling to see Amy's issue.
11:42I know her issue is inappropriate comments.
11:44My issue is, what is now inappropriate or not?
11:57I just feel very awkward right now.
12:03I don't think it's inappropriate, personally.
12:06I thought it was more humorous and banter, you know?
12:09And she's in a foul mood now.
12:14I can't cope.
12:17I'm getting so agitated and so worked up
12:20because the inappropriate comment has just, like,
12:23been a trigger for me.
12:25We're so close to doing home stays with my family.
12:28Where is this going to go?
12:31I am lost for words. I feel like I'm so close.
12:34And I'll say something or I'll do something
12:36and it just goes backwards.
12:38It just goes backwards again.
12:40If there is a way to win over Amy,
12:43they deserve a Nobel Prize, for sure.
12:46Because it's a tricky task.
12:50BELL TOLLS
13:03In Walsall, Sasha and Ross are waiting
13:06for the arrival of her parents.
13:10Hey!
13:12We've been dying to see Sasha. We've been waiting.
13:14So excited. How long now, has it been?
13:16Oh, God. Weeks and weeks. It's, like, forever.
13:18Hey!
13:20Come on, then.
13:23Worst-case scenario going in there is that Ross has upset her
13:27and she's been unhappy.
13:29It means a lot to me that my little girl's really happy.
13:32I want to know how his look after her.
13:35So... What's been happening, then?
13:37What's happening?
13:38Well, I've just got back from Manchester.
13:40OK. I met Blue.
13:42You can tell me about it, yeah, yeah.
13:44And how did that go?
13:46It was just because...
13:48It was just because he'd been waiting for that moment for so long.
13:51Yeah.
13:52It reminds me of me and you, actually.
13:54Yeah, yeah, yeah.
13:55Cos she literally ran to the door and she was going,
13:57''Daddy!'' Cos he knocked the door and we couldn't hear her,
13:59going, ''Daddy!'' And then he opened the door
14:01and he, like, picked her up and she was going, ''Argh!''
14:03And I feel like I'm going to cry now.
14:05And it really made me emotional.
14:07And now I'm thinking I wonder if it's just cos of our connection.
14:10Oh, that's lovely.
14:12I think I love a dad-daughter relationship.
14:15Yeah.
14:16It's nice for me to see how them two are bonding.
14:18Yeah.
14:19They're both following together.
14:20Yeah.
14:21They're both sharing together, yeah.
14:22It's not my heart, that style.
14:24It's good.
14:26Since the last time you were in the gym,
14:28how have things been going since then?
14:30Have you had any problems?
14:31Between the two of you, have you been all good or...?
14:34I'm going to be honest with you.
14:36Yeah, we have arguments.
14:42But we did speak, spoken about it,
14:44and, yeah, we're getting better.
14:47OK. And how do you feel about that, Sash?
14:50Well, obviously, the last time I saw you,
14:54I was 100% moving to Manchester.
14:57Now that's changed.
14:59Just because I don't want to be away from you lot
15:04in a city where I've got no-one
15:07and Ross loses his temper.
15:10Can you understand Sash's situation as well,
15:12what he's saying to you as well?
15:14Of course, yeah, 100%.
15:25It's hard. Like, obviously, when I was sitting with Blue and stuff
15:29and I started crying, I felt, like, quite guilty.
15:32I didn't want to affect how conveniently
15:34he could see his daughter.
15:36That's a bit of an issue at the moment, isn't it?
15:39Yeah. Yeah.
15:41I know where you're coming from cos I want my daughter here
15:44and you want to be with your daughter.
15:46You're such a bastard of a situation, really.
15:49It's such a hard situation. For you both, it is.
15:52But we have been really, really happy and I think...
15:55Cos I was sorry from the arguments and the issue of living,
15:58where you're going to live. Yeah. Everything's good.
16:01Yeah, we both feel really lucky to have found each other.
16:04I think we've just both hit the jackpot with each other, really.
16:07That's good, that's good.
16:09I came here for one thing.
16:11I've got what I want. And you've got what you want.
16:14Right, guys, I'm going to leave you three to it.
16:17OK, OK. Yeah, see you, Kevin.
16:19All right.
16:23OK. Right. All right.
16:25Now Ross is left.
16:29I definitely want you to stay here.
16:31I've got a little girl I've got to think about just like anybody else.
16:34Ooze. Do you know what I mean? And don't have to drive away.
16:37That's my precious thing in life. Yeah.
16:40This is the first time I get to tell my parents
16:43that I'm not 100% on Manchester.
16:45Their advice means the world to me.
16:48And I can see it's such an important issue to my mum.
16:52And for her, moving is not an option.
16:57Moving is not an option.
17:00Right now, I've got absolutely no idea what to do.
17:13That's Weppenhover Stadium.
17:15Amy and Luke are making the journey from Kent to Lancashire
17:18for the second part of their homestay.
17:21There's so much riding on this day, both myself and Luke.
17:24Like, I have realised that I do cling on to the negatives.
17:27But it is amazing to be back in my hometown.
17:30So I'm just going to try and stay positive
17:33and not reflect on what's happened in the past and move forward.
17:39Babe, I'm so excited to be back.
17:42That's my house.
17:44It's gorgeous.
17:47I think John's excited to see us.
17:49I think he can send you presents. I think he's excited.
17:52Oh, look at him.
17:54Say hello. Hello.
17:57He's got a big chest, has he?
17:59Yeah, he's got a chest like you.
18:03Oh, wow.
18:05So this is the kitchen.
18:08Look at him.
18:10He's cute, isn't he?
18:12Let me see if I can bond with him. A bit of face licking.
18:15LAUGHTER
18:21OK, I think he likes you. He likes you.
18:24I like you too.
18:26I don't know who's worse, me or John.
18:29Definitely you.
18:32You can stop now, Luke. Please stop licking my dog.
18:35Stop tonguing him.
18:38It's that noise he makes. He goes like...
18:41Ew.
18:43You don't have to lick my dog, don't worry.
18:45I won't be offended if you don't. I want to lick your dog.
18:48He's going to lick you.
18:54These are all my photos.
18:56My homestay started off on the wrong foot.
18:59So maybe this time, best behaviour is necessary, you know.
19:02Don't say anything silly, no more white lies.
19:05It's just about being truthful and honest.
19:07So today's an important test of the times.
19:10Where would you put our wedding photo?
19:13Nice spot for it here, maybe.
19:16This is me and Ibiza.
19:18You look different there.
19:22I prefer you now.
19:24Is this before the glow-up?
19:26Before the glow-up? Yeah.
19:28Thanks.
19:30You know.
19:32You look stunning there, but you look stunning here more.
19:36What? Look at you there.
19:38Pre-glow-up.
19:40I'm absolutely beaming right now.
19:42Like, Luke's saying I basically look hideous in this photo.
19:46You look skinnier now than in here.
19:49In here, you look a bit, like, bloated.
19:53Literally nothing's changed. I've just had my teeth done.
19:56Bit of filler in my lip. That's it.
19:59Glow-up.
20:01Bloated.
20:04Amy hasn't really taken this well at all,
20:07and she's almost irritated by the comments.
20:09So I think she might have preferred me
20:11to say that she looked better before,
20:13but I thought that that wouldn't make sense,
20:15cos I'd be lying.
20:17And we don't want that.
20:19We're meant to be moving forward,
20:21so all I'm doing is just telling the truth.
20:35Have you missed me?
20:39Oh, my God.
20:41How are you? Where's...?
20:45Is it just you?
20:47Just me. OK.
20:49Put that kettle on then, you wally.
20:51Oh!
20:53I'm really surprised to see Christina by herself.
20:57I really thought Kieran would be with her.
21:00I made your favourite for you.
21:02They got on so well on their wedding day.
21:05Um...
21:08I'm just wondering what's going on.
21:11So, obviously, I've come by myself.
21:13I was hoping to see Kieran.
21:16I know.
21:18So, obviously, you haven't seen us since the wedding day. No.
21:21We had an amazing time, got on like a house on fire.
21:24But things, unfortunately, took a bit of a turn.
21:29Not for the better.
21:38Hi, boys. How are you?
21:40How are you?
21:42Thanks for coming.
21:44This isn't how I imagined doing homestays
21:46when I signed up to the experiment,
21:48but I'm really looking forward to talking about it
21:50to my stepdad and all my brothers,
21:52just to see their insight on things
21:54and to see what they think about the situation.
21:56Where's Christina? I was expecting to see her.
21:58I know.
22:00It's been really hard.
22:03So, the wedding day was amazing.
22:06The honeymoon, amazing.
22:08But on the honeymoon,
22:10I found out she suffers with something called PMDD.
22:13Which, imagine a girl gets their time of the month.
22:16This is for about two weeks,
22:18and it's, like, heightened by about 100.
22:21She was telling us,
22:23Kieran, honestly, you need to be prepared for it,
22:25and I was like, it'll be fine, it'll be fine.
22:27We went to this retreat, and the PMDD kicked in.
22:30I was like, fuck.
22:32Like, this is going to be way harder than what I thought.
22:34Yeah. Way harder.
22:36And then I think that's when I've started backtracking,
22:40like, removing myself from the intensity of it all.
22:43Kieran's never experienced anything like it.
22:46Kieran got some cold sores,
22:49and then it was almost,
22:52he was using the cold sores as an excuse
22:55to not, you know, to not want to be there.
22:58To not, you know, to not want to be intimate with me.
23:02I just felt so rejected that he just didn't want me,
23:06didn't want to be intimate with me.
23:08Can't even kiss the bloody boy.
23:10So that rejection is tough,
23:12because I am so, you know, I am physical.
23:16Kieran has very long-term, 100-year-like plans.
23:21I obviously am very living the moment, you know,
23:25with wherever the wind sort of takes me.
23:29And it's so difficult,
23:31because he's compared me quite a lot to his ex.
23:36I am gutted.
23:38What you're telling me is it's obviously quite a lot to take in.
23:42You know, at the wedding, you just...
23:44I know, it was electric. Yeah. Fire.
23:46He seemed perfect for you.
23:48I know. He tells me every day how incredible I am.
23:54Like, I've really been hurting.
23:56Like, I have been sad and I have struggled.
24:00The bull has been in his court for a little while now.
24:05As much as I want to help her,
24:07all I've done in past relationships is help, help, help.
24:10I've never had help.
24:11I've never had the support that I needed
24:13because I'm too busy worrying about them.
24:15I can't be like that for the rest of my life,
24:17because I need to put myself first.
24:19I have to put myself first.
24:23You could see yourself spending the rest of your life with him.
24:29Yeah.
24:32Wow.
24:34Yeah, I do really like him.
24:37What do you think, then?
24:39I think after he's spent a few days away,
24:43obviously by himself, see his family,
24:46then it'll give him a chance to think,
24:49and then maybe...
24:51I think Kieran's got a lot to sort out in his head.
24:58So now that you're back home, what's next for you?
25:00What are you going to do?
25:01So I've sat down and I've weighed up the goods and the bads.
25:05And there's way more goods than there is bads,
25:08but the bads are very heavily weighted.
25:12So I'm here now and I'm working out...
25:16..does the bad weigh out the good or does the good weigh out the bad?
25:21I honestly don't know at the minute.
25:25You just want to be relaxed and know that he's with you
25:29because he really wants to be with you.
25:31The whole of me.
25:33The good times and the bad times.
25:35Yeah, definitely.
25:37We can only hope, but there's got to be a lot of hoping to be done.
25:41I hope so for your sake, sweetheart.
25:44Kieran needs to realise just how lucky he is
25:47to have Christina in his life.
25:49She's just a lovely human being.
25:52I'm going to get upset now.
25:58Christina deserves somebody to love her.
26:07It's just hard, man.
26:09It's really, really difficult.
26:11I've got a lot to think about while I spend the next few days here
26:14on my own because I know I could potentially be thrown away.
26:17It's one of the best things that could have ever happened to us,
26:20so I really need to be careful about my decision.
26:33Could you get used to John sleeping in bed with you every night?
26:36I think so, yeah. Look at him.
26:38Amy and Luke are waking up for the second day
26:41at her homestay in Blackburn.
26:43John, look.
26:46Good boy. Good boy.
26:49Look how much he likes me.
26:51I'm not going to lie, I did feel like he was slightly disrespectful
26:54at telling me I looked bloated yesterday,
26:56but it feels really nice waking up next to Luke and John this morning.
27:01I'm going to keep my positive head on, we're going to go shopping,
27:04I'm going to be in my element at least,
27:06so hopefully it's going to be a good day.
27:09I love that in the ear, I love it.
27:11Go, John. Here, John.
27:14Ooh!
27:18Luke seems really into John licking him.
27:21Like, I'm not sure how I feel about it, it's making me feel a bit sick.
27:25Hey, baby.
27:28Please stop doing that.
27:31The noise, like, that noise goes through me.
27:34Stop it.
27:38Oh, God.
27:40Moving swiftly forward,
27:42how do you feel our relationship and marriage is going at the moment?
27:46Erm, it's not going amazing.
27:49OK. I worry what's going to come out of your mouth next.
27:53But really and truly, every relationship is going to happen,
27:56it's where you focus, it's where you look, isn't it?
27:58Yeah, at the negatives. Yeah, it's wherever you look.
28:01Like, this is a lovely room, it's a beautiful room,
28:03but if I look in that corner, all I'm going to see is mould and dew.
28:06But... Do you see what I mean?
28:08Do you see what I mean? But it's all about...
28:10I don't know, but...
28:12I bet it's like... I bet it's like...
28:14Why are you such a fucking arsehole?
28:16I'm not being an arsehole, I'm just saying...
28:18Why would you point out the mould in the corner of my room?
28:21Oh. I have that as well in my house.
28:24I had it pointed out.
28:26I am annoyed at Luke right now.
28:28I just think it's really disrespectful to be commenting on,
28:31like, the paint, the smudge paint on my walls.
28:34Like, it's not even mould.
28:37OK.
28:40Well, this is awkward.
28:42Like, we're in my mum's house, like, have some respect.
28:45Jesus, can I just mention one small thing?
28:48It's normal in houses, babe, it's normal.
28:50I just didn't come into your house and comment on all the mould
28:54in your house and all the bad things...
28:56And that's exactly my point, I'm saying, like...
28:59Oh.
29:01Cool.
29:03I didn't mean to upset you.
29:05Cool.
29:08I think Amy at the moment is on a heightened state of alert,
29:11so anything I say is kind of attacked,
29:13or I can't say everything that I want to say
29:15because she's got something to say about everything.
29:18I think Amy has to understand that I can't be on a leash
29:21constantly with what I say, you know what I mean?
29:23Otherwise it's not going to go anywhere.
29:36I love leather on women.
29:39OK, she doesn't like it.
29:43The comments that Luke made about my bedroom this morning
29:46have really irritated me,
29:48but I've come here today to take Luke shopping.
29:52Do you like it? Hideous.
29:54I absolutely love shopping,
29:56and I just love spending money because it makes me happy.
29:59And then we're going to see my friends later.
30:02Obviously, you've not met Alex yet, have you?
30:04I know she means a lot to you.
30:06I think her opinion would mean a lot as well.
30:08100%, yeah.
30:09Are you a bit nervous?
30:11Erm, a little bit.
30:12Why are you a little bit nervous?
30:14I hope you don't say anything unexpected.
30:16I'm not going to say anything silly.
30:18I think the more I understand you,
30:20the more I'm keen not to say anything,
30:24like, to upset you or...
30:26I'm not going to say anything silly.
30:28You know, keen not to say anything, like, to upset you or...
30:31Oh, you've not done a very good job of that this morning.
30:34I know, but I felt like that was a bit unnecessary as well.
30:37What, the comments?
30:39No, like...
30:40My reaction?
30:41Yeah.
30:42OK.
30:43If you think that, then cool.
30:45Don't you think so?
30:47You're saying that my house was mouldy.
30:49That's your house.
30:51We're shopping now, Amy,
30:52and she's bringing up a comment from this morning, like,
30:55I can't believe that this is just going to come up again.
30:58Just let go of it.
31:00The one room had a little corner.
31:02I just use it as a remark to say that not everything is negative.
31:05Like, your room is beautiful.
31:07Yeah, but why point it out? It's just out of order.
31:09Like, that's my mum's house. It's like a pride and joy.
31:12I know it isn't.
31:13Why would you? I don't know.
31:14I just feel like stuff comes out of your mouth sometimes without thinking.
31:17No, I was thinking.
31:18OK.
31:19I was thinking.
31:21Shall we make a move?
31:22Yeah.
31:23Which way?
31:24This way.
31:25OK. After you.
31:27Yay, magical.
31:29It was a discussion we were having.
31:32Right, OK.
31:33Just like it's a dick move.
31:35I told you it was mouldy in front of you.
31:37Why did you mention my mum to appreciate it?
31:39Where's this mum coming from?
31:40She's going to see it. She's going to see it.
31:42That's what I mean.
31:43Why are you acting like a different person in front of everybody else?
31:46And then you change it.
31:47This is really nice. I like it.
31:49Cool.
31:55This is called the Arboretum.
31:58This is a special place to me out in Walsall.
32:02Do you feel, um, happy and happy with the way?
32:05Yeah, I love being home.
32:07It was lovely waking up in my own home with my husband.
32:11Felt like this is how it was supposed to be.
32:13Ross not being fully convinced on Walsall yet
32:16just leaves me a bit anxious for the future.
32:19All we know is that we really want to be with each other
32:21and we hate being apart.
32:23So I thought to bring Ross here
32:25because I've got a lot of childhood memories linked to this place
32:28and I wanted him to see how beautiful Walsall can be.
32:31We used to come here, all the cousins and family.
32:36And my auntie used to drive and we'd all sing in the car,
32:40really, really excited.
32:42And there's an ice cream man and he takes cards.
32:45A card?
32:46Yeah, an ice cream man that takes cards.
32:48I told you Walsall's got everything.
32:50Walsall!
32:52Walsall!
33:04I feel like I'm going to cry.
33:06I know, I know, it's all right.
33:08For the final part of their homestay,
33:10Amy and Luke are meeting her friends.
33:12Alex, you weren't at the wedding.
33:14What was he like?
33:16When we walked down the aisle and we literally saw him
33:18at the end of the aisle, he was...
33:20I was so excited because we were like, yes, absolutely spot on.
33:23First opinions can be deceiving.
33:25Just because he was nice on the day,
33:27I feel like I want to get to the bottom of what he's like with her.
33:30What does he like doing in his spare time?
33:32I literally don't know anything about him.
33:34Well, we'll soon find out.
33:41I'm really confused with regards to mine and Luke's relationship
33:44at the minute. I do not know where my head's at,
33:46so I can't wait to get some advice from my friends.
33:48Hi, babies!
33:50I can't even explain how much he's riding on tonight.
33:52Like, I really need him to make a good impression
33:54in front of my friends.
33:56Their opinion means everything to me.
33:58Nice to meet you. I'm Alex. Nice to meet you.
34:00So I'm really hoping that they like Luke.
34:02Oh, gosh.
34:04You look nice.
34:06You look nice too.
34:08You look very nice, both of you. OK?
34:10Yeah.
34:12Do we look married?
34:14LAUGHTER
34:18Do you girls want to have any drinks?
34:20Yes, please.
34:22LAUGHTER
34:26So how has it been?
34:28Difficult. Are you getting along?
34:30I feel like I've got to talk about it,
34:32because I don't want to get upset.
34:34Don't get upset.
34:36Don't get upset.
34:38He's, like, amazing.
34:40I do really fancy him.
34:42I really fancy him.
34:44But, like, he puts his foot in it all the time.
34:46He knows how to read the room.
34:48Like, today we were in bed, and he was like,
34:50if I looked at your house and looked at all the amazing things,
34:52I could comment and say, like,
34:54look at that mouldy wall.
34:56And I was like, for one, my bedroom isn't mouldy.
35:02It's been so fucking hard.
35:04Honestly, I'm so confused.
35:06I'm so confused,
35:08because I really fancy him.
35:10LAUGHTER
35:12Just ask him what to call stones.
35:14I know, but I feel like I can't move straight first now.
35:16You don't have to.
35:18Just be yourself.
35:20There you go.
35:22Thanks very much.
35:26Cheers.
35:28Cheers.
35:30Cheers.
35:32Cheers, huns.
35:34That's nice.
35:36So, obviously,
35:38we've never met before,
35:40so tell me a bit about yourself.
35:42Yeah.
35:44And I've been in the UK for, like, nine years.
35:46I work in a prison.
35:48I do prison education there.
35:50And, yeah, I'm Melody's best friend.
35:52A bit more.
35:54What do you do in your spare time?
35:56I do woodwork.
35:58I do, like, crafts.
36:00I build little furniture, stuff like that.
36:02Play the guitar a bit.
36:04What else?
36:06Is there a specific question you want to...?
36:08What do you do in your whole spare time?
36:10Well, sometimes,
36:12during the weekends, I do, like,
36:14entertainment jobs.
36:16What do you mean, entertainment jobs?
36:18It's, like, costume stuff.
36:20It's similar.
36:24What kind of...?
36:26Well, I've done, like, two jobs this year,
36:28which I've had, like, an apron on and stuff like that.
36:30Yeah, but I've had, like, two jobs.
36:32I don't usually do those kind of jobs,
36:34but I had two jobs in a year where I did that, yeah.
36:36And adult entertainment,
36:38is that something you see yourself doing moving forward?
36:42Even now, you've got a wife?
36:44It's interesting, yeah, what you've come up with.
36:46How does that make you feel?
36:48Luke told me at the start
36:50that he just did, like, nightclub jobs
36:52in jeans with his top off.
36:54And then it came out, and then
36:56it just was like, ugh!
36:58Why do you feel like you needed to lie?
37:02I don't know. I think sometimes I just
37:04do that, like, when I...
37:06Sometimes you just lie?
37:08Yeah.
37:10I feel like that's not a good foundation for a relationship.
37:12Not at all, no, not at all.
37:14But it's not about how you start,
37:16I think, it's about how we develop,
37:18because we all have flaws, isn't it?
37:20And even liars deserve to be, you know, in love as well
37:22at the end of the day.
37:24As long as you learn from your mistakes.
37:26100%, and that's what we're doing.
37:28Slowly. Yeah.
37:34I'm mad right now.
37:36Like, she wants me to
37:38start this meeting off with me saying that
37:40I'm a butler and a buff, as if that's all I do.
37:42I don't think there's a way
37:44to introduce anyone, let alone your husband.
37:46My wife's just egging everything on.
37:48I've just come here
37:50and I felt like the first introduction
37:52was a negative light.
37:54There was an agenda,
37:56something needed to come out.
37:58It was like you wanted me to say that,
38:00and it was like... Say what?
38:02I wanted you to say what?
38:04About being a butler and a buff.
38:06Is that how you introduce someone?
38:08No, Alex was asking you questions.
38:10Yeah, but that's our conversation.
38:12Oh, right. That's our conversation.
38:14Right, OK.
38:20So, Luke, what are your intentions with Amy?
38:26I feel violated, I feel disrespected,
38:28I feel let down.
38:30Well, as of now,
38:32I'm a single man.
38:34What?
38:36Erm, that's...
38:38Not a married man?
38:40No.
38:42I'm a single man.
38:46I felt there was an agenda here
38:48to portray me a certain way.
38:50Portray you? You portray yourself
38:52in your own way?
38:54Like a dick.
38:56Alex was asking you about
38:58Alex was asking you about your job.
39:00Yeah, and there was something he wanted to go on.
39:02Do you know what I mean?
39:04Well, you wasn't telling her what you do in your spare time.
39:06I don't have four things I do in my spare time.
39:08Yeah, and I said, what about the other thing?
39:10Yeah, what does he do?
39:12Why is that an agenda?
39:14It doesn't matter now.
39:16The ring's off and it's not coming back on.
39:18Well, fuck off, then.
39:28The ring's off and it's not coming back on.
39:30Well, fuck off, then.
39:32Don't just end a marriage on one comment.
39:34That's not how marriage works.
39:36The intention today
39:38was for you to put a negative light
39:40straight away.
39:42We haven't come here thinking that.
39:44That's not true.
39:46I had an argument when I walked out.
39:48Because you commented on my mum's house being mouldy.
39:50Yeah, well, if you're that bothered,
39:52then get a stepstool out there and fix it, mate.
39:54It's not mouldy, it's paint.
39:56And I don't care about your opinion either.
39:58Well, you clearly do.
40:00You clearly do, cos look how he's got you flustered.
40:02Yeah, but look, fair enough,
40:04you've admitted to lying,
40:06but if you obviously addressed it,
40:08this is really upsetting, Amy, deep down.
40:10He doesn't care about my feelings.
40:12He does not give a single fuck.
40:14All you care about is yourself.
40:16I could have whipped my wedding ring off
40:18and thrown it four weeks ago.
40:20Fair enough.
40:22Fuck off.
40:24I...
40:26I never introduced you.
40:28I don't know why you're still sat here.
40:30Cos we're having a chat.
40:32Well, my friends don't want to chat to somebody
40:34that's not my husband, so I suggest you leave.
40:36Leave.
40:38Leave.
40:40Is that one thing I did once a year?
40:42Yeah, because you lie. You are a liar.
40:44A compulsive liar.
40:46Honestly, I'm seething.
40:48I've never been this angry in my life.
40:50I need him away from me.
40:52Can I go to the bar and just take five?
40:56Oh, dear.
40:58Couldn't we not have just had a conversation?
41:00Well, that's what I thought, but clearly not.
41:02She wanted to do it in front of an audience.
41:04You took the bloody ring off.
41:06You could have just said to her in private.
41:08I'm not happy with how you did that.
41:10Right, listen, I'm done with this now.
41:12Enjoy your drinks, OK.
41:14Come on.
41:18I am fuming.
41:20I chose to trust him when that's how he acts.
41:22Yeah.
41:24Luke needs to do a lot
41:26to make it up to me.
41:28Like, this is an absolute shit show.
41:30Behaving like this in front of my friends
41:32is an absolute no for me.
41:34So I don't feel like he realises
41:36how much he's fucked up right now.
41:38Where do you go from here?
41:40I do not know where this leaves us.
41:42If he's willing to give up after one little thing,
41:44that's a red flag for me.
41:46Yeah.
41:48I feel like there was an agenda
41:50from the beginning.
41:52I feel like there was an agenda to upset me,
41:54to attack me and, you know, perhaps to disrespect me.
41:56And Amy seemed to be the one
41:58that was refereeing all of this.
42:00So I find that
42:02very hurtful.
42:04I didn't come here to, you know,
42:06be labelled in front of your friends.
42:08I came here to meet them.
42:10It's difficult to see anything, you know,
42:12beyond this point for me and Amy.
42:14Maybe it's not meant to be after all.
42:18Yeah.
42:26I think it'll be really emotional
42:28to see Sasha, do you, Mum?
42:30Yeah, I do. I think it'll all be emotional.
42:32Yeah.
42:34It's the final day of homestays
42:36and Sasha and Ross are on their way
42:38to spend some time with her family.
42:40Oh, dear.
42:42Hurry up now, open that door.
42:44Who's that?
42:46Yay!
42:52It feels so good seeing
42:54all my family and I knew
42:56they'd be so excited to see me as well.
42:58Muah!
43:00Don't make me cry.
43:04Ross. Hello.
43:06You look gorgeous.
43:12That's my nana.
43:14Ross, I think my family
43:16wanted to ask you some questions.
43:18Oh!
43:20Have you found her hard work?
43:22No, no, honestly, she's not that bad.
43:24I'm sure you've brought the right Sasha
43:26back with you.
43:28I don't recognise her.
43:30She was hard worker when she was little.
43:32Small and mighty.
43:38Are you in love?
43:40I don't know what it is.
43:42Is that love?
43:44Yeah.
43:46You didn't practice it?
43:48Two weeks.
43:50Oh, I'm shocked.
43:52I'm getting fucking emotional here.
43:54It's all right.
43:56Don't lie to somebody if you don't know.
43:58It means a lot.
44:00Are you in love, Sasha?
44:02Yes.
44:04Can you tell?
44:06You look absolutely blooming.
44:08You are, you are.
44:10I've never seen you like this.
44:12Really happy.
44:14We're doing a good job, then.
44:16Seems like it.
44:18What are you going to do, like, future?
44:20When you come out?
44:22Well, the moving situation,
44:24erm...
44:26Ross wants to get to Manchester,
44:28his family wants to get to Manchester,
44:30and...
44:32these guys want me to stay here.
44:34Yeah, of course.
44:36I'll be over 25.
44:38I know, I know.
44:40I'll just think it first.
44:46I need to be here.
44:48That's mine.
44:50That's mine.
44:52I don't want Sasha to move to Manchester.
44:54We know exactly what's better for her.
44:56We know Sasha more than anybody.
44:58I'm worried that if there's any kind of disagreement,
45:00she's going to be on her own.
45:02She don't know anybody,
45:04Absolutely.
45:06And talk to.
45:08I want her to stay with us, with her family.
45:10Guys,
45:12I really don't want to go.
45:14I know.
45:16But we've got to get back to London, sadly.
45:18I've always said that I'd move to Manchester,
45:20and that wouldn't be a problem for me,
45:22but with how Ross's behaviour can be an argument sometimes,
45:24it's left me questioning
45:26whether that's the right decision.
45:28OK.
45:30All right, babe.
45:32Oh, come on. Bring it in.
45:34After being with my family,
45:36and remembering him,
45:38which I miss him.
45:44He's putting things into perspective for me even more,
45:46that I really can't be away from them.
45:48It kills me.
45:56I love you.
45:58I love you.
46:00I've got you, babe. I've got you.
46:02All right, Ross.
46:04See you later.
46:06This decision on where I move to
46:08is definitely not going to be one
46:10that's taken lot heartedly.
46:16Next time...
46:18I've seen him side to poly,
46:20chilled, giggling, smiling.
46:22The final commitment ceremony brings out the best
46:24in some couples.
46:26I feel like we're tap dancing round the love at the minute.
46:28I haven't felt this way about someone before.
46:32As tensions continue for others...
46:34I felt humiliated, I felt disrespected,
46:36I felt violated.
46:38Why can't you grow the fuck up?
46:40It makes me feel uncomfortable.
46:42I can't feel anything but anger towards him right now.
46:44And after a difficult homestay apart...
46:46To go from that wedding
46:48to then how we are now,
46:50that is what kills me.
46:52Kieran questions the future
46:54of his marriage.
46:56I don't know how much I've got in us
46:58for the amount of emotional support Christina needs.
47:00While the dilemma
47:02of where to call home...
47:04Moving to this situation is affecting me.
47:06...pushes Sasha and Ross to crisis point.
47:08I really wanted to do
47:10everything I could to make you happy.
