00:00The 7th China International Import Expo opened in Shanghai on Tuesday.
00:05The organizers said the Expo at the National Exhibition and Convention Center will showcase
00:10more than 400 new products, technologies and services at national pavilions of 77 countries
00:17and international organizations.
00:20This year's event will feature close to 3,500 exhibitors from 129 countries and regions,
00:27multinational companies from the United States and Japan also presented their latest products
00:33and technologies.
00:57Malaysia is honored as the Guest of Honor at the Expo, which will be held until November
01:2310th.
01:24A total of 68 Malaysian companies are participating in the Expo.
01:29Prime Minister Datuk Sri Anwar Ibrahim opened the Malaysia Pavilion and the Associated Chinese
01:35Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia Pavilion.
01:39Anwar delivered a speech along with Chinese Premier Li Qiang at the opening ceremony of
01:44the Expo.
01:45The Expo is an initiative by the Chinese government to provide a platform for countries involved
01:50in its Belt and Road Initiative to promote and export their products and services to
01:55China.
