The New Hampshire hamlet of Dixville Notch opens its polling at the stroke of midnight on Tuesday November 5, traditionally marking the start of the US election, hours before the rest of the country. Kamala Harris and Donald Trump each got three ballots from the tiny community in the northeastern state, mirroring the incredibly close national polls in the White House race.
