00:00Jay McMillan is at Palm Beach in Florida.
00:04Jade, what's happening where you are?
00:09Well this is where the Trump campaign is holding its election night watch party.
00:14We have seen Donald Trump supporters coming into this venue, many of them addressed in
00:18those signature Make America Great Again caps.
00:22Donald Trump's running mate, JD Vance, is also said to be inside.
00:26The former president himself, as far as we know, is still some way away from here at
00:32his Mar-a-Lago residence.
00:34He was out at a polling place near his home earlier today.
00:38He cast his ballot in person alongside his wife Melania.
00:42He was certainly projecting confidence at that stage of the day.
00:47It's something that's been echoed by one of his senior advisors here in West Palm Beach,
00:52Corey Lewandowski.
00:53He has said that the former president is feeling great about his prospects, that he believes
00:58momentum is on his side.
01:00But Donald Trump, for now, really sticking to social media.
01:04He has urged Republicans who are in states where the polls haven't yet closed, people
01:10who are still lined up at some of these very long lines at polling centres, to stay the course.
01:18Now Jade, there had been a lot of concern about what would happen if Donald Trump were
01:21to lose.
01:22What's the latest?
01:23Yeah, well it was on election night four years ago that he prematurely claimed victory.
01:31He has ever since then continued to falsely assert that that election was stolen from
01:36him and we'd really seen him in the final days of this campaign starting to ramp up
01:42rhetoric around cheating.
01:45He has argued that, you know, perhaps the only way that he could be beaten is if the
01:49other side cheated.
01:50And he has on social media today made an allegation that there was cheating in Philadelphia.
01:56That is the largest city in Pennsylvania, which as we've been hearing all day really
02:02could be the most important swing state.
02:04Now local and state officials there have said that those claims are unfounded.
02:09Donald Trump hasn't provided any further detail.
02:12And federal officials have also said that they are not seeing any evidence of fraud.
02:17It could be a sign of things to come, depending on how these results start to shape up.
02:22We'll see what more we might hear from Donald Trump as things progress.
