00:00Meanwhile, while we wait on that, let's go to Luis Gutierrez once more, who's joining us, bringing us the latest in New York.
00:09Let's see, in Los Angeles, I'm sorry.
00:16Hello, good night from Los Angeles, California.
00:19Here, the polls closed about three hours ago, more than three hours ago, almost four actually now.
00:25And we are seeing a very quiet night in LA, in the streets of LA, where like there is actually not any sort of celebration for either candidate.
00:38People are mostly at home waiting for their results.
00:41There are a few watch parties happening around the city.
00:45However, a lot of these watch parties have become, people have started to leave.
00:50People have started to go home since they are, I mean, most of these places were expecting or were hoping for a victory for Kamala Harris.
01:00However, seeing the latest results in the trend on the Electoral College, people started to go home with a very disappointed attitude after losing,
01:13or starting to lose hope that there would be any sort of changes in the projections for this election.
01:19Okay, Luis, so you were saying that many are just leaving the watch parties.
01:25Do you think that that is a general sentiment across the state?
01:30Of course, this is a state that has voted Democrat, that was expected to vote Democrat as well.
01:36What about the, we talked earlier about the local elections in terms of some decisions that were going to be set locally.
01:46What can you tell us about the outcome of those?
01:53Some of these, sorry, some of these votes are still being counted about these different propositions.
02:00However, it is expected that most of them, most of these propositions will pass,
02:05especially those related to the environment or to minimum wage, as well as the ones related to forced labor for incarcerated people.
02:20But however, we still need to wait a few hours.
02:23We will probably won't get any final decision on those propositions until tomorrow morning as well.
02:30This is because California is a very big state with a very big population and there's a lot of votes to count.
02:40Excellent. Luis, thank you for your input.
02:43Thank you for your report for us and for joining us throughout the night and giving us the latest at every moment.
02:51So thank you.
