00:00Well, can you just tell me what's going to be happening at the Climate Action Summit
00:03event and what the rationale is behind it, please?
00:06OK, so it's going to be a family day. There's going to be lots for the kids, crafts and
00:11activities and quizzes and so on going on. But there are also going to be lots of organisations,
00:16both voluntary and commercial organisations, explaining to us how we can perhaps make a
00:23difference locally with things like heat pumps, solar, car use, insulation for houses, but
00:31also how we can be involved in local voluntary works and the like as well. So it's very much
00:38about what we can do to make a difference to climate. It's not protesting, it's very
00:42much about action and how we can make a difference.
00:45And how important is it that we as individuals look to reduce our carbon footprint?
00:48I think it's essential that we all think about this very small thing that we can do.
00:54We can't influence the world events, but we can make a difference because every little
01:00percentage that you can put into it will actually gather into a greater thing and hopefully go
01:07to system change throughout.
