Armie Hammer Is Trying to ‘Redeem Himself’ With New Podcast

00:00It's been over three years since Armie Hammer's career was derailed

00:03following a slew of allegations, including sexual abuse and cannibalism.

00:08While he briefly stepped back from the spotlight, the actor,

00:11who was never charged and has long denied any wrongdoing,

00:14is attempting to make a comeback.

00:16On October 28th, he dropped his new project, the Armie Hammer Time podcast,

00:20and has even landed his first post-scandal acting role

00:23in the upcoming Western flick Frontier Crucible.

00:26An insider tells us in the new issue,

00:28he's trying to redeem himself, adding that Armie needs money.

00:32But Armie, who admitted on the podcast that he kind of likes the cannibal rumors,

00:36may need to watch his words.

00:38An insider warns,

00:44Armie and Elizabeth Chambers were married for over a decade

00:47before announcing their split in July of 2020

00:50and finalized their divorce three years later.

00:52They also share two children.

00:54Armie continued to make headlines when he was accused in 2021

00:57of sending several women graphic text messages about his sexual fantasies,

01:01including rape, mutilation, and cannibalism.

01:04The actor was also accused of sexual assault,

01:06which Hammer's attorneys denied at the time.

01:09And the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office

01:12confirmed in June of 2023 that it was not moving forward

01:16with the sexual assault charges after a two-year investigation.
