Chhath Puja : छत्तीसगढ़ के मुख्यमंत्री विष्णु देव साय 7 नवंबर को कार्तिक शुक्ल पक्ष षष्ठी पर रायपुर के महादेव घाट पर आयोजित छठ पूजा कार्यक्रम में शामिल हुए। इस अवसर पर सीएम साय ने सभी को छठ पर्व की शुभकामनाएं दी और कहा कि यह मानव को प्रकृति से जोड़ने का पर्व है। छठ पर्व पर हमें नदी और तालाब जैसे हमारे जलस्रोतों के भी संरक्षण और संवर्धन का संकल्प लेना चाहिए। वे खारुन नदी तट पर छठी मैया की मंगल आरती में भी शामिल हुए। कार्यक्रम का आयोजन छठ पर्व आयोजन समिति महादेव घाट द्वारा किया गया। इस अवसर पर विधानसभा अध्यक्ष डॉ. रमन सिंह, भाजपा सांसद बृजमोहन अग्रवाल, विधायक पुरन्दर मिश्रा, संपत अग्रवाल, अनुज शर्मा, पूर्व सांसद सुनील सोनी, स्वामी राजीवलोचन महाराज, रामप्रताप सिंह, बीजेपी के प्रदेश महामंत्री संजय श्रीवास्तव, पंकज शर्मा, छठ समिति महादेव घाट के सदस्य और बड़ी संख्या में उपासक उपस्थित थे।
