In der Weihnachtskomödie Dear Santa verläuft in der Vorweihnachtszeit eigentlich alles so wie immer: Kinder überlegen sich, was sie sich vom Weihnachtsmann Santa Clause wünschen und schreiben ihre Wunschzettel. Nur verdreht ein kleiner Junge versehentlich die Buchstaben des Adressaten, und plötzlich geht sein Wunschzettel nicht an Santa, sondern Satan (Jack Black).
