00:00Ken Chan and seven others are facing a case of syndicated estafa.

00:05He was forced to be arrested by the police in the second stage to serve a warrant of arrest.

00:13In the video given to the media by the lawyer of the complainant,

00:19the police went to this house in Quezon City to file a warrant of arrest against the actor, Ken Chan.

00:26This is related to the case of syndicated estafa that was filed against the actor and seven others in the regional trial court of the QC.

00:33Atty. Noel Joseph Estrada did not mention his client who filed a complaint against the actor.

00:38But what he said is that he gave less than P14 million as an investment in their business.

00:44According to Atty. Estrada, Ken Chan is the one who convinced the victim to invest.

00:50Chan promised 10% monthly interest.

00:53He was the one who actively requested.

00:57He asked for money from the complainant, from our client,

01:00and he said that he will invest in the restaurant business.

01:02He promised that he will give a big interest, a monthly interest.

01:10It was closed, it was hidden, and the business was gone.

01:12That's why the case happened.

01:14The police refused to serve the warrant of arrest.

01:17Did anyone receive the warrant?

01:19No, there's no one here in Mr. Ken Chan's house.

01:22This is the second time that the warrant of arrest was filed against Chan.
