00:00It seems like you've enjoyed the role,
00:02would you one day like to think of yourself as a permanent manager of Manchester United?
00:07Yeah, of course I thought this through well when I made the decision to come to Manchester United
00:10as an assistant manager or assistant coach.
00:14I thought that through, and I knew that coming to Manchester United
00:19was for me a special occasion where I felt I wanted to be part of this journey with the club,
00:26and also in an assistant role. I had clear ambitions to manage,
00:32I made the decision to sign a two-year deal as an assistant,
00:36and I'm still in that frame of mind, to be fair, to stay in that capacity.
00:44This whole experience of being the boss, how do you rate it?
00:50Was it stressful? Have you enjoyed it?
00:54No, I've enjoyed it, it gave a lot of energy.
00:59I think the reaction of the players was outstanding.
01:03I think also as an assistant you are quite close to players,
01:07so the past three months I spent a lot of time with the players
01:11and got to know the players very well, as human beings but also as football players,
01:17where they are in their development and how I can help.
01:20I think that relationship that is helping now,
01:24that we are together and we want to achieve something together,
01:29so that bond is there and that's what I feel very supported.
01:34So that gives a lot of energy and the support of the fans obviously was amazing,
01:38and that gives also lots of confidence and energy, so, yeah, so far so good.
01:45As you pass on the reins, what's the best bit of advice that you'd give to Ruben Amiri?
01:50That's a good question, actually.
01:54It's good to wrap it up after Sunday and, of course,
01:58I've been in for the three months in the season and this short spell,
02:05and from there on I think it would be very good to wrap it all up
02:10and have that conversation, yeah.
02:14It's a good question, I'm going to start thinking about it.
