00:00We're ready into this cold, or so-called, league phase in the UFA Champions League.
00:08Some of the heavyweights coming into action, major upsets as well.
00:12We're talking about some teams coming out swinging.
00:15We've seen some upsets.
00:16You know, how about Manchester City with sporting CP?
00:19I mean, we thought, you know, Man City, Guardiola, and then again, sporting with the whole thing
00:23about Ruben Amorim.
00:25But what about a 4-1 shocking defeat in the hands of sporting CP, Viktor Djokic, the Swedish.
00:33That's why I'm wearing my Sweden merch today, because, you know, I like Viktor Djokic.
00:40I like his hat trick.
00:42He was just impressive, man.
00:43What are your thoughts about this game?
00:44Well, I think, man, it was, I think, Manchester City, first of all, Josef Guardiola, he's,
00:50for the first time since 2018, has lost three consecutive games.
00:54So that's something to keep in mind.
00:56I don't know if it's because Rodri is not in the lineup, but definitely you can tell
01:01that they're missing something.
01:03I think that Manchester City, with the team that they have, they should be beating teams
01:08like Sporting and have them at the top of the Champions League.
01:15You know, it's interesting.
01:16I was looking throughout social media.
01:18I don't want to make fun of anybody, especially Manchester City fans.
01:21I'm sorry, guys.
01:22But there's a picture that has Pep Guardiola standing, you know, very close to Ruben Amorim,
01:28who's the so-called new manager or set to be the new manager of Manchester United.
01:33And Pep is just looking at Ruben like, hey, what's up?
01:36And that was very interesting to me.
01:38And that could be, you know, it could be the very future of the Manchester derby, right?
01:43That game that's so special for these teams.
01:45That's why, in my opinion, this win by Sporting CP, led by Ruben Amorim, was very, very meaningful.
01:52Well, let's see if Amorim is going to take a jokerish to Manchester United.
01:56Maybe they can help them beat Manchester City finally.
01:59That's what they're saying.
02:00And then again, I want to say, you know, rumors are going to hold true, but this is going
02:04to get interesting.
02:05So there is plenty more action.
02:07And you know, over at the Bernabeu, this is a game that to me, I grew up a Real Madrid
02:11fan.
02:12I'm not as much anymore.
02:13But I remember the late 80s when Ruud Gullit, Marco Van Basten, Frank Rijkaard, the Dutch
02:18superstars who beat the, you know what, Hugo Sanchez, Butragueño and Real Madrid.
02:24And that's why Hugo Sanchez, he won everything in Spain, but he could never win the Champions
02:29League.
02:30So that is why this win by Milan this week, 3-1 at the Bernabeu, was very meaningful.
02:37And I think a lot of Real Madrid fans or who grew up, you know, liking Hugo and those guys,
02:43that will resonate a lot because this was a game that was not supposed to go that way
02:48Not only that, coming from a defeat versus Barcelona, a spank versus Barcelona, rather
02:53than Bernabeu, I think it was shocking.
02:56I think it shocked the world that Milan was able to beat Real Madrid.
03:00But again, they're missing Carvajal, I think it's an important piece for Real Madrid in
03:04the back.
03:05And you can tell me, like, Madrid is struggling a lot defensively.
03:09I think that they got to do something about it.
03:12Angelotti definitely needs to make some changes because Madrid, psychologically, they don't
03:16look like they're there.
03:17They don't look like the champions because we have always seen Real Madrid in La Liga,
03:20they play one way and when they go to Champions League, they become the monster that they
03:24are.
03:25We didn't see that against Milan.
03:26Chibat, before moving on to the next game, you follow a lot of CONCACAF, U.S., Mexico,
03:31etc.
03:32How about Christian Pulisic?
03:33I mean, is he the guy?
03:34He's playing really well in Europe.
03:36Can he translate all of that and bring it into the team for Mauricio Pochettino?
03:40Well, that's what the U.S. is hoping for.
03:43The U.S. is hoping to see that version of Pulisic here at the CONCACAF games.
03:48He had a tremendous game with Morata, you know, como dicen, para que la cuña apriete,
03:53tiene que ser de mismo palo.
03:54He had a phenomenal game versus Real Madrid and hopefully Madrid gets back where they're
03:59supposed to be, man.
04:00And that will pretty much, I mean, it's impossible to translate, para que la cuña apriete, tiene
04:04que ser de mismo palo, but if you're playing your ex, you're going to do well.
04:08And that's exactly what Adolfo Morata did.
04:10Now let's go to the land of John Paul George and Ringo Anfield.
04:14Liverpool cruising to a 4-0 victory over Valle de Leverkusen.
04:17The record is perfect so far.
04:19Luis Diaz with a hat-trick.
04:20I mean, the Colombian has been unstoppable, pretty much, for Liverpool.
04:25How about Xabi Alonso coming back, then again, talking about the law of the ex, coming back
04:30to Liverpool, where he played tremendous games.
04:32Now coach Valle de Leverkusen thinks it didn't go that well for him.
04:35Well, I mean, when you have a team like Liverpool in front of you, it's going to be near impossible.
04:39Even if hasta la cuña apriete, it's the same.
04:43But, you know, I mean, Leverkusen, they try their best, but Liverpool, let's face it,
04:47with Salah and Luis Diaz on top, they're a very super strong team.
04:52And I think that they're, for me, Liverpool is the number one team to win these champions.
04:58They're my favorite team, so I'm with you, brother.
05:00Let's go.
05:01You know, Beatles, Liverpool, Anfield, et cetera, let's all get immersed in this culture.
05:06But anyway, before we jump into Wednesday's fixtures, let's quickly take a look at some
05:10other notable results from Tuesday's action.
05:13PSV Eindhoven beating Girona 4-0, you know, Malik Tilghman was impressive.
05:18Then let's talk about GnK Dynamo beating Zlatan Bratislava, Sandro Kulanovic started with
05:23a brace to secure Dynamo's second win.
05:26Then Monaco, the former team of Rafa Marquez beating Bologna, one of the surprising teams.
05:31Celtic in Scotland beating Leipzig 3-1, Juventus, another team that can't contend, drawing against
05:37Lille, a 1-1 game for them.
05:39And then Borussia Dortmund just nearly got an upset against Thorngrass.
05:44They got a 1-0 victory.
05:46So now it's time to dive into Wednesday's action of the UEFA Champions League.
05:51Some great matchups, very surprising outcomes, and some games that have significant impact
05:56into the group standing.
05:58Let's go to Estrella Roja, red star of El Grado against Barcelona.
06:03Barcelona that surprised the world by beating, again, I go back to Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
06:07Well, this is youngsters on the field, but you know what?
06:10It's more outstanding.
06:11The fact that Lewandowski is finally scoring more goals, and it seems like he's connecting
06:15with the youngsters, because everybody will think, like, this is a very young team, he's
06:19too old for this team, and he's delivering, man.
06:22Yeah, Hansi Flick is doing a tremendous job.
06:24I mean, we say it week in, week out.
06:26We thought Rafa Marquez was going to get that job, or at least, you know, there was
06:30a good possibility, but not there.
06:32So talking about Paris Saint-Germain against Atlético de Madrid.
06:35Atlético got a great win against Paris, but let's see what they can do with Cholo Simeone
06:41and company.
06:42Man, Cholo Simeone is always a very tactical manager, and, you know, the result tells us
06:48that.
06:49And Atlético de Madrid is always a contender, but unfortunately, they, les falta el peso
06:54para el dĂłlar.
