Oregon Ducks Quarterback Dillon Gabriel Breaks NCAA Record
Transcript
00:00Who gets to keep a record-setting ball?
00:06You are a tackle-eligible offensive lineman.
00:09Definitely Janoris.
00:10Gosh, what a way to score.
00:14Proud of him.
00:15And what an interesting way to do it.
00:18But he's worked hard at that one, for sure.
00:22On the right, Eric, what would you
00:24account for some of the, I guess,
00:25the slow start from the offense and kind of some up and down
00:28moments throughout?
00:29Yeah, I think just inconsistency at times.
00:32And that starts with us as players.
00:36Just need to be better in those ways.
00:38But kind of like it for us, though.
00:40Need to get better and continue to dial in.
00:46And adversity is real.
00:47You know, you've got to find ways
00:48to win when things aren't always going your way.
00:51And we definitely made it tougher on ourselves.
00:54But Maryland played really well as well, so.
00:57Brady, same room.
00:59Late in the game there, even with kind of a lopsided score,
01:01you're going on these long runs, scrambling kind of plays
01:04some people might not love to see their quarterback make in.
01:07What does that say about your competitiveness
01:08that you're still willing to put yourself
01:10on the line in those moments?
01:11Yeah, anything to win.
01:12I think in those moments, you're never thinking that.
01:15Of course, maybe when you step away, you're like, oh,
01:16maybe I should be a little smarter in that moment.
01:19But when you need to get it and need to get third or fourth
01:23down or when we need a play to be made,
01:26then that's what I needed to do.
01:28But I think the guys know that.
01:30You know, anything that helps us to win, so.
