00:00if you're a brown-haired skinny white man in New York City and you weren't at

00:04Washington Square Park on Sunday, where were you? because you missed the

00:07Timothee Chalamet look-alike contest that happened and it was the event of

00:11the season. it all started when creator Anthony Poe circulated this flyer around

00:16the city advertising a $50 cash prize. and then it came to fruition on Sunday

00:20and some crazy stuff happened. let me take you through all of it. the event

00:24drew way more people than they were initially anticipating which led to some

00:28run-ins with the police and one of the Timmy look-alikes ended up getting

00:31arrested. I can't quite figure out what it was for but probably something to do

00:36with crowd control. but a hashtag free Timmy. and then miraculously the man

00:41himself Timothee Chalamet actually showed up to this event and showed

00:44everybody exactly what he looks like. this picture of the real Timmy next to

00:49some of the contestants is really making me laugh because why the fact that he's

00:54taller than them like it's really funny for some reason. like yeah the real

00:58Timothee Chalamet is gonna be the biggest one in the frame even though that

01:01doesn't make any logical sense. there was Bob Dylan Timothee Chalamet who said he

01:05was gonna spend the cash prize on five guys. there was a full-blown trophy that

01:10was commissioned for this event. and apparently there's this girl handing out

01:14business cards to some of the look-alikes asking them to ask her out

01:17on a date which is really funny. the guy who ended up winning was Wonka Timothee

01:23Chalamet which I don't know I'm not honestly convinced by it. I think the

01:28costume is doing most of the work here. here's a good picture of some of the

01:31runner-ups. I think we have better contenders among this like or maybe it's

01:36just the effect of seeing all of them together I'm like they all look like him.

01:39of course the unhinged stan account club Chalamet had a lot to say about this.

01:43before the event happened she was like no way he's gonna be there. he could

01:47maybe look on at it from from the safety of a high and secured room. but then of

01:53course had to eat her words when he actually showed up in this unhinged rant

01:57that ends with this benefits me in ways you can't imagine. she's right I can't

02:02imagine how it benefits her. and ultimately the creator of this event was

02:06slapped with a $500 fine from the NYPD. but what nobody's talking about is that

02:11the creator of the Timothee Chalamet event is the same guy who ate the giant

02:16jar of cheese balls in Union Square Park earlier this year. I think we have a new

02:21New York legend on our hands.
