00:00Meanwhile, the Nica typhoon is already out in the Philippine Area of Responsibility but the Tropical Storm Ophel entered the PAR earlier this morning.

00:10Our third typhoon this November.

00:13The last to pass was the Typhoon Ophel, 1170 kilometers east of Southeastern Luzon.

00:20The wind was strong, up to 75 kilometers per hour.

00:24There was no wind signal in any part of the country.

00:28But based on the 5 AM bulletin, it is possible that the Typhoon Ophel will become stronger in the next few hours.

00:36It could also landfall in Northern or Central Luzon on Thursday afternoon or evening.

00:44Meanwhile, any time from now on, the PAR is expecting the Typhoon Ophel to land in Northern Luzon.

00:54It is possible that it will gradually weaken while in the West Philippine Sea.

00:59The last to pass was the Typhoon Ophel, 185 kilometers north of Ilocos Norte.

01:04The wind was strong, up to 95 kilometers per hour.

01:09Because of the Typhoon Ophel, the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 in Ilocos Norte,

01:16Northern portion of Ilocos Sur, Northern portion of Apayao, Northern and Western portions of Abra,

01:23Western portion of Babuyan Islands, and Northwestern portion of Mainland Cagayan are still high.

01:30It will still be risky and dangerous for small sea vehicles to cross the seas in Ilocos Provinces.

01:39Even though the PAR is expecting the Typhoon Ophel, the storm surge is still present in some coastal areas.

01:47According to the forecast, it is possible that one to two meters high of storm surge in Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur

01:55Residents were asked to stay away from the beach.

01:58It was also alerted to the expected pouring of moderate to heavy rains

02:04up to heavy rains in Ilocos Norte, Cagayan, and Batanes.

02:09Residents are being careful from the risk of floods or landslides.

02:13Aside from the Typhoon Nika and Typhoon Ophel, there is also a tropical storm in the Pacific Ocean.

02:19It has an international name, Manhi.

02:22The typhoon will continue to approach the PAR.

02:26Last seen, 2,930 kilometers east of Southeastern Luzon.
