Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev defends his countries' usage of oil and gas during his opening speech at the UN's climate summit COP29 in the country's capital Baku, arguing that every natural resource is "a gift of the God". He says countries should not be "blamed" for having and selling their natural resources, adding that "the market needs them".
