When your cake is STILL stuck

00:00Oh, if you've fallen victim to a stuck cake, don't fear.
00:07All hope is not lost.
00:09We have a hack to get a stuck cake out of your Bundt pan.
00:12Always recommend only letting your cake cool for about 15 minutes once it comes out of
00:16the oven, and then flipping it out and letting it cool completely after that.
00:20As it cools, the sugar and the fat will start to harden, and that's what will cause it to
00:24stick in your pan, and we don't want that, especially with a Bundt pan when you can't
00:28line it with parchment paper.
00:29So if your cake is stuck, we want to try to heat it back up by dipping it in hot water
00:33for a few seconds, or you can wrap a hot, damp towel around the bottom, and this is
00:39going to heat those sugars and fats back up and release them from the pan.
00:43Before I flip it, I will run an offset spatula, or like a small paring knife, along the edges
00:48just to make sure this is loose.
00:50See if it works.

01:03The next time your cake is stuck, don't start over.
01:05This is the easiest way to get your cake out of your cake pan.
