00:00Alright, I'm joined by top top Keroit draft prospect Finn O'Sullivan. Finn, about a week
00:06out from the draft, how are you feeling mate? Yeah, nah, I'm feeling great. Nerves are settling
00:10a bit but can't wait to hopefully hear my name called out. Should be a good night, got
00:15all my family and friends coming up so that would be awesome. And back home at the moment
00:21and then back to school for your final exam. How's this last few weeks been with school
00:26exams and all that? Yeah, nah, it's been pretty full on. It's been great though. I've
00:30had countless mates, I think about 10 odd boys who I've finished with up at school.
00:35So, yeah, can't thank them enough for that, for getting me through the exam period because
00:40yeah, it's pretty tough studying a fair bit. But nah, inside and out, I've loved it. Thought
00:46I'd been really busy so I've kind of kept my mind off footy a lot. So, yeah, nah, I
00:49just can't wait to get exams done and be awesome. And what's this ground here? We're at Vic
00:54Park in Karoi. What's this mean to you? Oh, this means everything. I think, you know,
00:59you never try and forget where you come from and for me that's always at the forefront
01:03of my mind. So, yeah, I can't thank the club enough for so many great people within the
01:08community and I'm sure that goes for a lot of country boys. Even speaking to them, yeah,
01:14they're definitely going to miss coming back to your local club a lot more. So, yeah, hopefully
01:19I can, you know, come back as much as I can. But, yeah, just going to have so much support
01:24from the club and all the people in it. So, yeah, can't thank them enough. And growing
01:27up in a sports-mad family not far from here, how was that? That sort of set you up? Yeah,
01:32nah, it was good. It was awesome. Yeah, I've loved it. I've had, you know, great upbringing
01:37having two older brothers, younger sister. And, yeah, you know, obviously I had a lot
01:41of backyard beefs but, yeah, I think it's put me in good stead though for now and, yeah,
01:46I can't wait just, you know, to share this journey with them for the next couple of years.
01:50So, I think, yeah, both my brothers might move up to Melbourne. So, hopefully, I'll,
01:54yeah, maybe see them up there. It'll be awesome. And you're expected to be a high draft pick?
01:59Well, what would it mean to you to end up in an AFL club in, what, about a week's time?
02:04Yeah, nah, it's been a dream for me since I was young. So, yeah, to hear my name called
02:09out would just mean the world for me and I know my family would love it as well. So,
02:14yeah, for me, just knowing that I've put all my effort in and I've done my best for my
02:19best foot forward, yeah, I just can't, hopefully, can't wait to hear my name called out. Yeah,
02:24it'd mean the world to me.
