00:00Is there a family tradition that you're going to want to pass on to your children one day?
00:05Yeah, big time. So, one of the things that we did, I'm one of four, and we're all very tight-knit,
00:12we're all very close in age, so we would all sleep in the same room on Christmas Eve. So,
00:17you know, we would do letters to Santa, you know, you get in your pajamas, you got Johnny Mathis
00:22playing in the house, the tree's been decorated, you write the letters to Santa, and then we would
00:27kind of pick whose room, you know, I guess my brother and I shared a room, but usually that'd
00:32be the room we'd bring our sleeping bags into, we'd all sleep on the floor, we'd bring this old,
00:37one of those old portable TV-VCR combos that weighed 5,000 pounds for some reason,
00:44and you bring it into the room and you pick a Christmas movie, usually Rudolph or one of those,
00:48what are they, Bankin' and Rass, is that the right? Like the Claymation ones. Yeah, yeah,
00:52man, those were good. And yeah, you just try to force yourself to sleep, but the act of all
00:58sleeping in the same room was such a fun thing and such a special memory. That's what I hope,
01:03that my kids will enjoy each other's company as much as me and my siblings did, that we want to
01:09spend every second of Christmas Eve together, right up until you fall asleep.
