00:00Hi, I'm Hamid Dean, sales consultant for Guinness Homes for this site, Woodlark Place in Finningley on the outskirts of Doncaster.
00:11Basically the estate comprises of approximately 31-32 properties, some of which are social housing and the rest are all either sold or we have about 14 units that are still remaining under the shared ownership scheme.
00:29Mainly 3 bedroom properties and under the shared ownership scheme it gives first time buyers or people that wouldn't normally be able to afford the full market value of a property to get a foot on the property ladder and sort of buy a home.
00:51What sort of price are these ranging from?
00:54They started from £245,000 to £250,000 and that was for the 3 bedroom properties.
01:04There's a show home behind us here, comprised of a kitchen diner and a lounge downstairs and upstairs you have 3 bedrooms with a bathroom and they all have decent sized gardens, 2 parking spaces either at the front or the side of the property.
01:24Just tell us a little bit about the area.
01:27It's 6 miles away from Doncaster so it's commutable, there's a bus route that goes straight into Doncaster which is ideal if you work in the centre of town.
01:38Alternatively if you need access to motorways you're literally 10 minutes from the motorway network basically so Sheffield is a 25 minute commute so it has a nice catchment area.
01:57Having said that it is a semi-rural area, very quiet here, we're tucked away, we've got Robin Hood Airport which is currently not operational but just on the other side of the fences is basically green space and then the runways start.
02:16So in the future there are developments by Doncaster Council to get the airport up and running so this would be an ideal spot for anybody that wants to work there literally out of bed and into work.
