Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer XPENG unveiled its cutting-edge flying car, the "Land Aircraft Carrier," during its first public flight at the ongoing Airshow China on Tuesday.
This innovative vehicle consists of two modules: a ground module and an air module. The ground module, an electric car, not only carries the air module but also recharges it. Impressively, it takes just five minutes for the air module to detach or reconnect to the ground module, all without requiring manual intervention.
Mass production is slated to start in Q3 2025, with an annual capacity of 10,000 units. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2026, with each unit priced at approximately $276,000.
