00:00Another projection that I find very interesting, Boise State versus Ohio State.
00:07We've seen more consistency out of Ohio State.
00:09We almost saw Boise State lose to San Jose State today.
00:12I mean, it wasn't until the second half of that game that they were able to finally pack
00:16some points on.
00:17More importantly, break a tie and all of these things around.
00:20So late momentum out of Boise State, potentially taking on Ohio State that seems to be rolling
00:25pretty hot right now.
00:26What would we potentially see with this?
00:29Yeah, I mean, I think for fans, Casey, I think it's a great opportunity to see the best back,
00:34maybe the best offensive player in all of America, Ashton Gente, the Boise State running
00:38back, against an elite Ohio State defense, a defense that's filled with future NFL players.
00:45I think that would be the game within the game that everyone would want to see.
00:49But I'm starting to believe, and I'd love your take on this, I kind of think there are
00:54programs like Ohio State that may saunter into the playoffs.
00:58I think there's so much talent.
00:59The expectations are so high.
01:02They've been here before with Ryan Day, at least getting to a playoff situation.
01:07I wonder if Ohio State's getting a little bit bored of the regular season.
01:11I mean, that was not an impressive beginning of the game against Northwestern today.
01:16I think Ohio State's the kind of team that once we get to the playoffs, that's when you're
01:20going to see the best Ohio State.
01:22So I don't think Boise State would hold up well against Ohio State.

01:28Maddox Madsen, the Boise State quarterback, has done a nice job for a Mountain West quarterback,
01:33but they would force the quarterback to beat them.
01:36You would see seven, eight guys in the box, and I would not be surprised if it was a stat
01:40line for Ashton Gente of something like 24 carries, 58 yards, and no touchdowns.
01:46Absolutely.
01:47And plus, I just think that I completely agree.
01:50We've seen so many lackluster performances out of Ohio State, and it's not for a lack
01:53of talent or capability.
01:55It's just kind of one of those things where it's like, oh, we're facing Northwestern today.
01:59Let's just get past this one.
02:01I think where we saw the most fire was the Ohio State versus Penn State matchup, and
02:06there was just a number of storylines attached to that on top of the quarterback wanting
02:09to go to Penn State, feeling rejected, and wanting to prove, hey, you should have had
02:13me to begin with, but I'm going to show you what it would have been like to have me on
02:16your roster.
02:18I think that we are going to see a whole different gear out of Ohio State in the postseason.
02:21I think they can prevail past that first round, and I think we see a different Will Howard
02:26as well because we've seen when he can turn it on, and we've seen when that offense chooses
02:30to have more of a balanced attack, which maybe that applies to boring sometimes.
