Neighbour, Ryan Morgan, says he was “worried” and “shocked” to hear of the death of 24-year-old Harshita Brella, who was attacked, murdered and stuffed into the back of a vehicle on Brisbane Road in Ilford, London.

00:00Well, we've noticed, so last week we noticed a police car just stood, parked over here
00:05and we were a bit curious on why the police car was there every day.
00:08So I think my girlfriend's dad actually asked the police officer and he said something to
00:12do with a domestic or something, but we didn't know what it was.
00:14We thought it was a house further down the street, we didn't realise it was two doors
00:17down.
00:18And then yesterday, that's when we've seen a lot of activity.
00:21So we've seen a big police van parked over here, we've seen police officers walking up
00:25and down, we've seen a, it looked like a forensic team or something in white gear, walking past
00:29this window.
00:30I was in the kitchen, I could see them walking past the window and then loads of men with
00:33cameras pointing down this way.
00:35So naturally I'm a bit more curious and we've actually looked up, you can see online that
00:40this young girl was murdered and obviously, naturally you're going to be a bit worried
00:45because you don't know what's happened, you don't know why it's happened and obviously
00:48I've got two young kids in here as well, so I've got a two-year-old and a four-year-old
00:51so I'm a bit worried now.
00:53So yeah, it was a bit, you know, just a bit of a shock at the end of the day, yeah.
00:57Obviously uncomfortable, yeah.
00:58Well as I say, I didn't realise it was so close as well, two doors down, so just to
01:01know that someone's been murdered, potentially in that house, so close to us, yeah it's worrying.
01:06I mean I keep the door locked now at all times, just in case, I don't want to, you know, because
01:10I work back shift, two to ten, Monday to Friday, so obviously I'm at work, I'm going to be
01:14worried what's going on at home because my girlfriend, I mean bless her, she can't really
01:19do much if someone comes in the house.
