00:00You've probably heard about this over the course of the week, it was a big story that the team
00:04owners had been calling around looking for assistance, maybe some help on bringing you
00:10along and sort of your development from maybe outside the organization. Is that something that
00:15you took to heart? Is that something you think is necessary? And how do you feel the team has been
00:21sort of developing you so far early on, obviously early in your career, as you mentioned, but
00:25how do you sort of see that going so far and would you welcome outside help?
00:30Yeah, I haven't heard really much about that and quite honestly, I haven't even heard any of it,
00:34any of that. I think, you know, the guys in the room and AVP and TC are doing a great job,
00:40if I can prepare, if I can plan on time and making plays, I think there's little situational
00:44things that just come with, you know, getting the experience and being a 22-year-old rookie in the
00:49NFL. So I think what we got in that offense and those players in there, I think we're making
00:54plays and I don't really think there's nothing much to say about that. Along those lines,
00:59one of the things you've been really consistent with is post-game, somebody will ask you, oh,
01:03fourth and two, field goal, punt, whatever, two-point conversion, and you have been very
01:07supportive of your coaches. If coaches say it, we go along with it. Where did that mentality come
01:12from? You seem like a good soldier. I mean, is that just the way you've always been growing up,
01:16if coach says that I do it? Because we've had discussions around here, even Coach Mayo said
01:20a lot of modern players are why guys, right? You can't just tell them what to do. Sometimes
01:24they'll ask why, and then you have to explain it. You don't seem like a why guy, you seem like a
01:28yes coach. I think at this point, yeah, I think just the way I grew up with my parents and how
01:33they kind of handled the household and raised us just being a, hey, my parents tell us to do it,
01:39you know, that's a no, it's a no-brainer, you know, what we kind of, what they ask of us and
01:45being humble and saying yes sir and yes ma'am, little things like that, kind of credit to my
01:49parents and being a good soldier or kind of not have a resource that comes along with being a
01:53working quarterback and not having too much, but I think there is times where, hey, if I want to
01:57voice opinion of going forward, I think down the road that I think they would respect that and
02:01listen.
