00:00Georgia, who got bumped out last week of that college football playoff, at home against
00:06Tennessee on Saturday, 31-17, huge week for them.
00:10Now I'm not a big Kirby Smart fan, Cam, let me start, let me preface this by saying that
00:15I don't particularly care for this guy, and this act that he's about to pull with you,
00:21with the whole, no one believed in us, and everyone had us for dead, and this guy needs
00:28to calm down.
00:29Is Kirby Smart after they beat Tennessee on Saturday night?
00:33Our kids show resiliency, I'm proud of them, look, it was a week ago, a couple hours that
00:38we were dead and gone, you know, people had written us off, it's just, it's hard to play
00:43in this league, week in and week out, on the road, we've accumulated a tremendous amount
00:49of injuries from the schedule we've had, and it's not going to really get any easier, it's
00:54a physical game, but when you play the gauntlet of what we played, it's taken its toll.
01:00We had a lot of guys sitting on the sideline tonight that couldn't play, but we also had
01:04a lot of guys that stepped up, and I think the way we practice has helped us grow some
01:10players who stepped up tonight and played big for us.
01:14Now he's right about one thing, Cam, in my eyes, they absolutely have played the toughest
01:18schedule in college football this year.
01:20When you look at, they actually, and most of these SEC teams don't do it, they had one
01:25really tough non-conference game when they played Clemson to start the year, nobody else,
01:30and they smashed Clemson in that game, and somehow the scheduling roulette wheel in the
01:36first year of this no East and West division format granted them trips to both Alabama
01:42and Texas in the same season, so they have played a difficult schedule, and you factor
01:49in Tennessee at home and other things, so yeah, but him saying that we're out of it,
01:54I mean, Kirby, let's be honest, they put you in the first spot out, knowing that you were
02:01going to beat Tennessee on Saturday night, and then you'd be right back in to the 12th,
02:06so let's calm down.
02:09He's acting like they dropped him to 25, and they had all this work to do to get themselves
02:13back in the mix.
02:15This is going to start, this is the first year we're doing this game, but this is going
02:18to become, I believe, kind of like what we see in other sports now, professional sports.
02:24With it being 12, it's going to start to be a, you got it, once you're in it, and you're
02:28one of these SEC teams, you have a shot.
02:31Look, I'm not saying that BYU or any of that can win, but I think any of the SEC teams,
02:36if they're in, they can absolutely win the whole thing, and Georgia will be in, and they're
02:40not going to lose another game, and they're going to get bumped up tomorrow night, and
02:43they will be in the 12-team playoff.
02:45No, I agree with you, and they're, actually, I would bet on them to win the national championship
02:50still, that game against Alabama was wild.
02:54First of all, BYU, you lost to Kansas, you're done.
02:56Those teams have to run the table, so you're going to get a lot of those teams in, and
03:00let's even talk about, number one, Oregon here.
03:03Wisconsin, plus the points, they beat Wisconsin by three damn points.
03:06Oregon is not the best team in college football, they're not.
03:11I do not believe, Cam, we've had years, especially when we've had four teams, we've had years
03:17where there was no doubt about it, this team's winning, nobody's beating them, they're better.
03:22We do not have that this year.
03:24We don't.
03:25I agree.
03:26I think Ohio State can be beaten.
03:27I think Oregon can be beaten.
03:28I think Georgia can be beaten.
03:29I think Alabama.
03:30This is going to be, you have a chance for one of these teams that maybe sometimes doesn't
03:34have a crack.
03:35Is it Ole Miss?
03:36Who knows who it is, but someone's going to have an opportunity.
