00:00Some lawmakers are questioning the person who signed the receipts of the Office of the Vice President for the Confidential Funds.

00:08The name is similar to the name of a food and a snack.

00:13Jonathan Andal brought you the latest news.

00:20This is one of the receipts that the OVP, or Office of the Vice President,

00:25sent to the COA, or Commission on Audit, to explain how they spent P125,000,000 for the 2022 Confidential Funds within 11 days.

00:36But the name of the person who signed the receipts is hard to read by congressmen.

00:41The name would read, is it correct, Mary Grace Piatos?

00:45Piaty? Piaty?

00:47The way I read it, it's Piatos.

00:49Why the last? Why? Since the tail is too low.

00:55The congressmen are seriously questioning if the person who signed the receipts is a real person.

01:01Do you think that person is a real person? What's your opinion?

01:05It could be a person.

01:06But would you know that there's a restaurant named Mary Grace?

01:12There's also a Piatos that's brown with potato chips?

01:17To confirm, the congressmen are asking for P1,000,000 to teach the person who signed the receipts.

01:27What the Office of the Vice President is saying is that Mary Grace Piatos is real.

01:32We don't believe that Mary Grace Piatos is real.

01:35Mary Grace Piatos is the one who received the biggest amount.

01:38If Mary Grace Piatos is not there, I'm sure that most of the people there are fictitious.

01:45This is the only receipt out of the hundreds of acknowledgment receipts submitted by the OVP in COA,

01:50which in the eyes of the judges is fake, just like receipts with different names,

01:56but it seems that only one person wrote and signed it.

01:59Because VP Sara is saying that the acknowledgment receipts that were shown in the hearing

02:11are from the Commission on Audit.

02:16And the Commission on Audit said that these are the acknowledgment receipts that were read by the Office of the Vice President.

02:25So how can you say that these are fake?

02:30We tried to listen to the comments of Vice President Sara Duterte, but she didn't respond.

02:35The next hearing on the confidential funds of OVP and DEPEDE will be held on Wednesday.

02:40Some OVP officials are expected to attend, and I will wait to see if Mary Grace Piatos is real.
