Bomb squads were called to Glasgow City Centre yesterday afternoon, on Wednesday 20 November.
Buchanan Bus Station, surrounding streets and the nearby Caledonian University were evacuated and locked down after reports of a suspicious item just after 1pm.
Bus services from the station were either terminated or rerouted causing a significant amount of disruption.
Glasgow Concert Hall on Killermont Street also cancelled performances citing “circumstances beyond” their “control”.
A controlled explosion was carried out at around 4pm though nothing was found.
Police have since confirmed that three men were subsequently arrested for alleged possession of offensive weapons and inquiries are ongoing.
Despite the hassle, it appears services have resumed and buildings have reopened.
Passengers are being urged to check with their operators to ensure they are running as usual.
