00:30favorites to win the NFC. Pretty much a toss-up in terms of who was going to be that Super Bowl
00:35favorite between the Niners and the Chiefs. It has not been a good season for San Francisco
00:41at an even 505-5 in a costly divisional defeat last week at home against the Seattle Seahawks.
00:48One of the reasons the Niners have struggled so much this season is because of the injuries,
00:54both offensively and now on the defensive side of the football, that have been rearing their ugly
01:01head. Brock Purdy was limited at practice on a Thursday, still expected to play. But you can
01:07tell the odds makers are a little bit spooked by all that San Francisco is dealing with entering
01:13this game against the Green Bay team that, yes, survived with a blocked field goal last week in
01:18Chicago, but still is 7-3. Joe, this game is important just from the numbers perspective as
01:27well. It would be the first time the 49ers have been booked as an underdog since the end of the
01:322022 season. Well, the injuries are just starting to pile up and that's the problem here. I mean,
01:38there are questions as far as whether Purdy was even going to play this week because he wasn't
01:43practicing. He's got the shoulder injury and we know Nick Bosa has health concerns on the
01:50defensive side of the ball. You know, they've got all sorts of issues, by the way, Ben, in the red
01:56zone. They have one of the worst red zone offenses, which is so unlike the 49ers and Shadahan.
02:03They're one of the worst fourth quarter teams in the NFL. We've seen them blow a ton of early leads
02:10late in games. And I'm sorry, Christian McCaffrey is not going to be your savior here. Trent,
02:16we've also offensive line issues now. Kittle didn't play last week. I mean, you just go down
02:23the list. It's like, how much can this team, how much can they go through here and how much more
02:28can we expect? You know, Ben, at this point, week 12 of the NFL season, you are what your record
02:33says you are. Are you not? You're a five and five football team. That's what the 49ers are.
02:39They should not be a favorite in Lambeau against this Green Bay Packers team and it's the way you
02:45cut it. It would just be Green Bay or pass because I have no idea what we're going to
02:49get from the 49ers or who we're going to get playing for the 49ers.
